£1.390 -
I used Music Magpie to buy from through Play.com (user on play and Amazon: zoverstocks) and their customer service on there is terrible too. I got a smashed case and a CD which skipped. No offer of refund or apology. I will never use them again for selling or buyingNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550

I just sold a box of stuff to them for £60 was quite pleased that it was fairly hassle free.
The items that got the highest amounts were old exercise dvds(like nyc ballet, barbara currie yoga), old sims pc games, and musical cast recordings.
Anything more recent or popular was for pennies.0 -

Hello everyone,
I have recently sold some DVD's through Cash Bee, as they were offering slightly more than Music Magpie. However since doing so, I have noticed a couple of posts on the internet net stating that Cash Bee should be avoided.
Has anyone here used them and got on ok, or have I just been done over?
Thanks for your time!0 -
I found the majority of my CDs were coming up for 30p on musicmagpie, occasionally 50p and not one over a pound. Their offer was about £36 or so for 90 odd CDs. So I sold the box full on ebay as a job lot, total amount after postage and eBay and PayPal fees was £74!0

Music Magpie are a big farce....how is possible that people still use them? I just input a barcode of a game I just bought which has an RRP OF £44.99 and guess what they offered me???? £13.99!!!
The thing is that many people might actually trade in at that price whereas we offer around £30 for the same game!!0 -
BEWARE
These charlatans have a very devious new game. When you first send off the CDs for the agreed (not damaged etc - fair enough) price. An email is sent to say CDs are at their warehouse , good till now. Next time you want to check the transaction , the site states their terms and conditions have recently changed. Before accepting (dont take my word for this, look). On 'acceptance' you have agreed that any damaged or none working CDs are excluded from the deal , these are knocked off the price and ''unfortunately'' cannot be returned or collected! mmm these must be thrown away then for no profit? DUR!! come on Magpie!!
I am a 62 year old gent who had a very well kept CD collection for many a year, and all looked after too. OK so I only lost out a couple of quid but, these guys must be laughing all the way to the bank with that little scam. A few CDs on every purchase is a nice little earner I would have thought. Just thought you should know that these guys are not that honorable and to be aware.0 -
Music Magpie is related to e-Stocks a seller on ebay, both are based at Black & White House. No issue with them, just thought I'd add my two penneth.0
