They trade as Zoverstocks on Amazon and Play, not sure if they use other places.0

Ah! The same scamps that undercut my Amazon listings by a penny. Cheers thriftymanc.0

I gave this company a try and I have to say it all went well actually - maybe I was just lucky!!
Sent off 2 small parcels of CD's and got about £18Okay so it wasn't loads of money but they were naff ones I was given years ago which I was about to take to the charity shop. Apart from buying a couple of jiffy bags for £1 and the effort of taking them to the PO I don't think I did too badly.
Took about 3 weeks in total to sending off my stuff to getting my cheques.Sealed Pot Challenge Member no. 048

Has anybody used cash4musiccds?
They take CD singles (of which I have many), which is tempting, but can't find any feedback on them... Website doesn't look like the most professional of jobs though.
Would like to hear something about them before I send of my coveted collection.
Thanks0 -
I used Music Magpie about a year ago. Got rid of a bunch of CD's and dvd's that were just taking up space.
Yes it's galling getting less than a pound for a cd, but when I calculated how much I was actually getting after fees & postage from the ones I was selling on ebay the difference was minimal. I took to putting cd's on ebay a couple of times, then if they didn't sell, sending them to Music Magpie. Ironically I did get more than I paid for some US imports I'd bought on ebay, one was £5, but that was very much the exception. Think I got about £120 in total.
I'd consider using them again certainly.0 -

I've read on another forum that they supply the Replay "preowned/refurbished" cds in Poundland too."And suddenly I find myself listening to a man I've never known before,Telling me about the sea..."0 -
I used Music Magpie, but was not particularly impressed. For 62 discs (a mix of CDs and DVDs) I received £39, but I just wanted rid so I wasn't really too bothered about that.
However, it took over a month for the transaction to be processed (they say 7 days!) When phoning them about it, they said they would sort it out and ring me back, which they never did until I rang again a few days later. Even after that phonecall, it took a few days to hear anything back from them again.
In the end, I received the £39 for the items, but it would have been much quicker on Ebay in the end, and I could have got more, so it wasn't really all that convenient!0 -

Music Magpie have physical stores too - www.thatsent.co.uk - and they're all over the country.:money:I'm not a friend of Martin's, I AM Martin. Just not THAT Martin. :money:0 -
Just tried Music Magpie for prices and for 8 X-Box360 games and 8 CD's the total is £32.29.
I don't know whether to try Gamestation for the games as a trade in.
I checked the prices on Ebay for the games and they are around that much and then there is the added cost of fina; value fee and paypal fee on top.0
