If you're planning a car boot sale you could certainly try off-loading them but I'd say it's not worth doing one just to sell videos. In my experience, no-one wants them and you'll be hard pushed to give them away for free. I had a box of videos and gave them to my local charity shop to get rid. I think most charity shops tend to sell them for 10-20p (if they're lucky!!!) and chances are they probably end up throwing a lot away.0 -

id opt for cex. much higher price paid by them. e.g, transformers 2 on blu ray: £3 on music magpie, £8 at cex. and on amazon, music magpie sell it for £13, as opposed to cex for £15. you can also trade in at cex and get £10 to spend with them.
music magpie seem very cheeky to me.
the best thing to do is list a joblot on ebay, just one parcel to post out then.0 -
Just had a go with this; accepted an offer of £11.90 for about 19 items. OK, so it's not a huge amount, but nearly 12 quid for a bunch of stuff I don't listen to (there's one or two CDs in there that I've had for coming up to 10 years and haven't even opened) is better than nothing

did you check out ebay to see what the individual items are worth - worth seling the decent ones on there and then shifting the rubbish over to them..0

Don't sell your CD's on this site, you won't get a cheque or any email help, they are useless boxed up all my cds and DVDs after being told I'd receive £20 for them. 3 months later nothing, I contact customer services nothing. Use eBay not Music Magpie.0

I have received cheques for my CDs but I only sell them the ones I cannot sell myself on Amazon or Play.com. Not used their customer services though so I have no comment personally on that
Their feedback as a seller on Play is quite bad though and a lot of comments on there about poor customer service and discs not arriving, not playing etc. They list everything as "very good" condition so a lot of comments seem to be about items not being as statedNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550
