I just ate shop bought, frozen, pre-baked jacket potatoes for tea so i don't see any reason why they can't be baked from fresh at home and then frozen.Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

Hi, Just a quick question on making a cake.
I want to make this http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/3092/ultimate-chocolate-cake as part of my boyfriends valentines day gift, I'll do it in a heart shaped tin.
The thing is I want to make the cake slightly alchoholic, I thought it might taste good if I added some baileys. Would it work if i just added a bit to the mixture and baked it for a bit longer or would I have to alter the quantities? I also thought about maybe making some baileys flavoured buttercream to go in the middle instead of the ganache and just using the ganache on the outside.
Any ideas? Thank you! There are many things in life that will catch your eye, only a few will catch your heart. Pursue those.0 -
I have a sick child so I can't go out & lots of washing to do... but I've run out of fabric conditioner almost (about 1 loads worth left and I've already watered it down alot!), I have no white vinegar, any ideas of something else I can use?Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0

Just do it without fabric conditioner? I never use it and the clothes seem soft enough. The only difference it seems to make is to get towels fluffier...and also less absorbent.Val.0
