While I can't say I'm in any way an expert, I am an experienced snacker and I would say, with some degree of confidence, that a tea-cake comes under the 'toast' category, not 'cake', despite the silly name.

Not sure about the muffin though.

    LOL thanks for the clarification!

Thankfully someone had brought cakes in for their birthday at work today. So I picked....a flapjack. Lame eh? Should have gone for something more cake like!!

Last week I posted abut having an interview today and needing a new suit, well when I dragged my old one out of the wardrobe it (to my surprise) fitted and looked OK so I didn't have to buy anything at all (not even tights although that was touch and go until I found a pair lurking in the depths that miraculously had no holes) AND

    I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!

    Congrats! :T

I ended up having 2 cups of tea and a vodka coke yesterday. OH's work mates took us to a Chinese buffet to celebrate our engagement and I only had the one VC, wasn't really in the mood for drinking to be honest! Had water the rest of the night.
On my 2nd cuppa of the day  going out for another meal tonight with OH parents, but I'm feeling a little ill so will stick to water :)

I'm still doing ok. Was on nightshift last night and tonight so I've stayed away from the shops by being in bed most of the day:beer:

  • Thanks guys, I am excited, I should start within the next couple of months (depending on when I can leave work) Still got to do all the negotiations (dull) but will get there in the end

I nearly buckled and bought a dress I didn't need in celebration, I didn't do that but did go out for lunch and am again tomorrow. Oh dear, that will mean one left until Christmas. Oops, might have been unrealistic with my lunches target.
