I only ever drink coke at theirs, so it's just a one off.

I've stopped drinking fizzy drinks at home, and I miss them lots! Thankfully when I go to my grandparents they always offer me a can (and a kitkat) I can never say no to my gramps! But I know a couple people who drank lots of diet coke then stopped and lost about 5 pounds.

Is all tea out of the question? You could try green tea, which is really good for you!

Everything but water! Did think today about having a slice of lemon in hot water.
First real day today and I am sooo tired cos I've not had my caffeine fix, usually I'd be buzzing right now but my eyes are heavy.
Suppose it will get better as my body gets used to it. :)

Nothing brought this week either, although I will be running out of cleanser and I have none in my "reserves" Does anyone have a recipe for make up remover/cleanser? I wear a lot of eyeliner & mascara so it needs to be quite gentle on the eyes.

Certainly do: use olive oil as eyemakeup remover, or baby oil. Works like a charm, as does any cooking oil. As for cleanser, try damp cotton wool with a little moisturiser on it.

Still using up the pots and potions, should clear another couple of sample pots tonight. I can already see space (very very small amount) in the bedroom makeup basket!

  • Can I join in please? I'm new on here so am a bit late joining in! However, I know EXACTLY what I need to give up and that's takeaways (actually I realised this a couple of weeks ago and I've not had one for eleven days. Considering I usually have two or three a week this is terrific going!) I spend far too much money on them and my bank balance and waist are not thanking me for it!

    Edited and updated signature.

  • Welcome Jenny,

I'm doing alright on my challenge. I find myself trying to catergorise what is a cake and what is not....Is a muffin a cake? Is a toasted tea-cake a cake?

    Endless questions, lol
  • Hi new joiners and old lags

Has it really been two weeks already?? that is 14% of the overall time. Doesn't sound so bad until you factor in that it means we are so much closer to Ch******s.

I have held my resolve today and even REJECTED free cake, I think I may finally have lost the plot - lol.

Best wishes to all for staying strong for the next week
