    Welcome aboard alzipals:D

Today I have been to Tesco for my weekly shopping. I also had to visit M&S for a birthday cake for ds. This meant I had to walk past Boots twice:eek: However I was on my best behaviour and didn't go in even though I could see all the Christmas gifts on shelves near the door:A

I've not done badly at all. I've not bought any crisps or cakes or biscuits! The weekends are always toughest for me. Now my boyfriend is back at University, thats when I'm at my weakest!!

Hoping I can make it through the weekend incident free, lol

:D So far I haven't fallen off the wagon, but I start Uni again next week which means boring 1hr bus journeys where a mag would be great company!
  • Not fallen off the wagon since my last post so hanging on in there.

I might have been a bit ambitious with allowing myself six lunches bought out at work between now and xmas, I managed three in the last two weeks (two were arranged lunches with contacts and one was because I was trapped away from the office) going to have to work extra hard now.

rb6ac have you been to your local library? My weakness is celebrity magazines  , and I used to buy 4 or 5 a week for bus and train journeys into uni. So I started getting celebrity biographies from the library, which gives me my fix! I'm currently in the middle of Elizabeth Taylor's autobiography atm.

Or get the daily paper. For about 30p, you can make it last an hour, if you do the crossword and the Sudoku puzzle!

Oh I need help......I've only been 'window shopping' on the internet but put some items on my ebay watch list......so far I haven't bid though, so there is still hope.....and one of them was PERFUME & was also looking at a cycle at over £200!!! OMG I have so much unopened perfume, I just really don't need any, even if this is oneI haven't tried before. It's because:

    - I haven't been out of the house since Friday week - not even to the supermarket

    - DD is at a swanky hotel in Manchester being pampered & having treatments (for free) as it is her friends 18th bday & her mum is treating them both to an overnight stay at a spa hotel, treatments to the value of £200 & then today shopping - I'm jealous!!

    - we have a fancy weekend coming up next week & in the past have gone & kitted ourselves out for it, of course that is one reason for us being in debt! This year I am 'shopping from my groaning wardrobes' - & forcing myself to sell on eBay.

I will be strong & will list today on eBay....
New start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 . Long haul DFW #145 : 2011 DEBTBUSTING : £5500 OD GONE, £2000 OD - GONE £93,610.30 cc & loan debt - GONE 27.6.14 FINALLY DEBT & MORTGAGE FREE :happyhear
  • Still no crisps for me. Yesterday was the most dificult day I have had so far. I so could have shoved a lorry load of crisps down my gullet but resisted. YAY ME!!! This morning I still have the urge to scoff :( but 13 days down I can't possibly throw away 13days now.
