Thanks Cinny, you're right - I do need it but... some of it is laziness. I have handcream in the kitchen, in the lounge, in the bathroom, and this tube is for the bedroom! But my hand do get really dry, and I hate getting up once I'm in bed. At least I haven't got any already in the cupboard, I am replacing one that's running out (just cut the top off and still amazed everytime at what is left).

Piquant and Magni I'm exactly the same. Everytime I go into the bathroom I think 'that's almost finished, so's that, and that, that's three bottles I can get rid of'! It's addictive. I had started trying to finish things off a few months ago (mainly shampoos which I have about 6 of and love finishing now), but I joined the challenge because I keep buying more and more makeup and never finish any of it. No more!!

  • Thanks but I wrong it hasn't been 3 weeks it has been a month yippee
  • Phew, am still dong OK. Yesterday I converted my one conditioner and one shampoo (I have more conditioner in the cupboard and am about to run out of shampoo) which was handily on three for two so only bought two bottles and got one for free, that should definitely see me through to the end of the challenge now.

Still not bought any cheese or chocolate although did find myslef in Mr T looking longingly at the cheese before I gave myself a bit of a shake, paid for my pint of milk and left with pride intact.

Doesn't it feel great though to be throwing out empty bottles. It could become my new addiction:rotfl: I've used up a bottle of conditioner, a lip balm and am nearly finished an eye make up remover and a tube of P&P serum:T

Very addictive! especially as the shampoo bottles etc go into the recycling, so I feel very saintly:T

I nearly was tempted to day by shampoo and smelly things....all on special offer....but i resisted.

I did buy chocolate yesterday though.....but will be used in baking and i cant eat my porridge without it so feel i am justified

  • I might have resisted the buying but I am staying at OH's on Friday night and I really bloody hope he has got a plentiful supply of cheese and chocolate for me to gorge on. I don't normally look forward to seeing him this much, this is doing wonders for my relationship - lol
