I thought I was running out of foundation, but when I tidied up my dressing table (well it's not a table, it's the top of the chest of drawers) I found I actually had two pots of foundation on the go! oh I'm such a terribly messy disorganised person :rotfl:but at least I realised before I went out and bought another pot

Can't be bothered to do the washing up yet so will leave it to DH to do when he gets home from work and I'll do tonights dinner dishes.

    Right here we go

in: 3 books and 2 photo albums full of postcards I use to collect and the lotus esprit 007 toy car they came back with me last night. Actually today 2 X pairs of curtains from amazon only cost £3.43 a pair  but cost nothing as I used Amazon vouchers. A news paper and post that will shredded later. And pkt of foil takeaway containers.

Out: All the cardboard on the back room can now get to the freezer.

Also in our bedroom sorted out all the drawers socks with holes chucked in a rag bag for the charity shop as well as a bag of better stuff for them.

Also a pile of stuff for brother that will leave some time over the weekend with the curtains.

Mind you tomorrow I go and collect my box of goodies that I ordered from Amazon :j it was to big to fit through the letter box and husband was out

    On wards and upwards.

    Yours

    Calley

A clutter-neutral day today - nothing out, but nothing in either. I am beginning to draw up lists of where to start in the house though - and where to go next in my office at school! I'm kidding myself though - that's not really progress is it?

Turns out I fibbed when I said dd's bedroom 100% done, it really was 99.7% as I'd forgotten about the 3 dressing up outfits that no longer fit her and today we get a request from the nursery for dressing up clothes.:T Just to sneak them out the house without her noticing.;) . I also had her try on her coats (plural:rolleyes: ) anyway 2 no longer fit- off to cousin's child or charity, depends on which will be out of the way first, 1 will last for next few weeks then it is destined for recycling leaving just 2 coats 1 winter and 1 summer.:j
    Meanwhile
    OUT - 1 broken umbrella
IN- 1 new umbrella (I love it when I can post like that.:D )
    5 pairs of school tights
    1 pair of wellies

As much as I dislike winter, I wish it would hurry up. This having to keep lighter clothes cos we are still having the odd bit of warm weather combined with having to get warmer stuff in for the next season is at odds with my reducing stuff and de-cluttering.:p
  • I turned my attention to a bookcase in our bedroom earlier on - I realised yesterday that the shelves were actually about 50% empty with a little stuff spread about gathering dust. I've found bits for the hospice shop bag, some more books for our book exchange, and rather a lot of stuff for the bin. I've got a pile of papers for Mr EH to go through tomorrow evening, and the bottom shelf of books still to do. Hopefully though that bookcase will be able to head down to the hospice shop with us at the weekend. The cat will be extremely peeved mind - she uses it to get from the windowsill to the floor! :rotfl:

Is anyone else as daft as me and gets excited when the binmen are coming? :o
I fly round the house finding the tiniest scraps of paper for the recycling bin, I drain the last of a bottle of lemonade just so's the bottle can go in the recycling bin straight away rather than wait for another fortnight to go, I wash out tins and stick them out in the recycling and my worst obsession yet, I went out to the bins in my nightie, early in the morning just to put two teabags in the bin!!! I just hate having unecessary stuff hanging around!

LOL.. I hate putting out a half empty bin too... I have to fill them to bursting!!

I put my bins out at 7:20am today.. in my nightie.. with 3 toilet roll tubes!!!

So far today I have painted the living room skirting & radiator. ok so it's not clutter but having it finished should help inspire me to keep it clutter free. I plan on starting in the kitchen in a little while. I really do hoard everything & under the sink is a treasure trove & sponges (1p in tesco so how could I not grab about 20?) washing up brushes (same deal but I gave lots away honest), cleaning products, most of which I don't use because I have stardrops. So I might be brave & see what I can do under there.
