    Well today:

In: Nothing but don't think there will be any how not going shopping.

Out: A scanner to a good home.

And maybe two bags of stuff one is rags for the charity shop and the other is better stuff them can sell. Depends on how I feel later.

    Yours

  • As planned -

Out: A bin bag of clothes and toys, and a carrier bag of books and other bits and bobs to the Hospice shop.
One of those frame things that you're meant to use for doing sit-ups. I don't do situps, so there seemed little point in keeping it! :rotfl: - that's gone into the bin-store outside where it will no doubt have vanished from by now to assist one of our neighbours with a get fit plan!

in: A free bottle of shampoo from Loreal - I requested a sample sachet but they decided to send me a bottle - nice of them!

Well I have got more stuff in this week than out as I have got a few more bits for Christmas!

have got a bag of bits of uniform from DS's infant school to give thm for their 2nd hand sale now he's gone to Juniors we don't need them!

Also realise that I had forgotten to put out an item to be collected from freecycle last weekend felt awful but they didn'y even email me about it but have emailed them to say sorry and ask if they still want it!
  • May I join this thread?

I did start to read the previous thread a few weeks ago but got rather daunted. I couldn't believe how long it was!

Do I understand the rules - keep motivated by posting what has been done and what has come in and out?

I think I should start by confessing an 'in' because I just did some shopping at Makro but for once I was organised to take bags so no further bags. And everything I bought apart from two books (trollied by dear heart) will be to eat or drink or a present.

I just need to find now where the nearest place to take glass for recycling as our council doesn't feel the need to collect glass for recycling.

As to what I need to do - everything :o We moved into our home fifteen years ago and we didn't even have enough furniture for all the house, coming from a two up-two down to a four bedroom, study, dining room and living room plus kitchen. (not posh though - a back to back in a not so good area :o) Our house is now full. It is in fact completely full. I am starting to believe that one more item, one more teeny tiny postcard from our holiday or one more itsy bitsy gadget for the kitchen and the house will explode with unsorted clutter fountaining in the air.

I hope I can keep up with this thread.

  • We have lost a rental DVD from Tesco

might be a stupid question but have you checked the dvd players etc and other dvd boxes or video games boxes?

    Gulp!! First ever posting, ever!!

Like someone said earlier, I find it difficult to clear stuff out as I can it's potential worth. I've in the past relied on NCT nearly new sales for kid's stuff, and car boots for the rest, but the weather has been so awful this summer that I've not done any car boots and my garage is full! How easy/difficult is it to sell on e-bay....I've never worked up the courage to do it, but desperately need to sell my tat!

Love the helpful guidance that I've been reading on here,
