Well no chance of snow stopping play here!

Have sold 7 items on ebay including my empty mobile box and an old leather book from a mystery source (I have no idea where it came from, but it sold for £52!)

Got rid of some of OH's modelling magazines for about £30 too. So not too bad considering the current economic climate.

Need to package these up, but no chance of getting to post office today - its blizzards outside!

Good luck with your car MM.
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D
  • So, the final tally from the weekend's wombling is as follows:

    IN:
    Money from eBay (yeehaw!)
Weekly shopping (no guilty binnings this week so far)
Large amount of snow down my neck when fetching coal and wood this morning

    PENDING:
5 eBay parcels to go to the PO, preferably when I will not be sliding down the hill to it on my posterior (or making an improvised sled of 4 pairs of shoes & 2 skirts)

OUT: (almost - recycling is in the car until the weather is better)
6 large cardboard boxes to recycling (had been saving them for eBay items, but have finally come to the realisation that I don't have anything that large to sell, and if I did, there would be more cardboard boxes arriving - OH's printing arrives in them - doh)
    3 recycling bags of glass
    1 recycling bag of plastic
    3/4 binbag of general rubbish
    1 broken table lamp
    1 broken kettle
1 bag of ash (the open fire is churning it out at the moment - we're keeping it alight longer)
3 beyond repair work jackets (even Gok couldn't do much with these)

I've slacked over the last month on the decluttering front :o after a mammoth attempt in December and feeling great about it.

I sorted a big pile of recycling for paper bin and shredding (to do:o ) yesterday and all important documents are in a pile in 2 drawers in the bedroom floor for sorting into folders tomorrow or tonight.

Found some more things out for ebay, just need to list them now! I am amazed at how much stuff I needlessly amassed with no intention of using them. Up for sale they will go to a new home where they will be used :j

Will report back tomorrow with how I have done, you all seem to be doing very well!:D :j
