Had a go at clearing the kids staircase yesterday (yes, my house is that bad!) and have found lots of stuff to list on ebay, give to the nephews, shed store for a boot sale in a couple of months. Would suggest anyone wanting to sell on ebay does it before the boot sale season starts for obvious reasons!

    IN:
    Groceries
Seed potatoes (only £1.99/10 from Focus)
Evergreen lawn stuff (only £4 from Focus)
    Plastic 6 x 4 shed (only £100 from Focus)

    OUT:
Have done some listing on Ebay
    Paperwork in recycling box

Will not be going anywhere near Focus for the forseeable future! The shed was dh's idea, can move the bikes from my shed to it. He doesn't realise that I can use the freed up space for boot sale stock. Ha! ;)

    Morning all!!

I'm doing quite badly at the mo - and the snow demotivated me even more (kids home and everyone having too much fun playing for 'boring' stuff!! :rotfl: )

    In:
Big bag of baby clothes from freecycle
Washable nappies from freecycle (I freecycled mine a year or so ago) (I'm collecting these today)
Steels and joists in my attic - woo hoo!!! (work on loft conversion came to a standstill with bad weather last week)

    Out:
small bag of baby clothes from freecycle into recycling - just in too poor a condition to contemplate offering on
2 broken kiddy hard plastic 'glasses'
    1 broken plastic kiddy flask
couple of items of food from freezer that I was bored of and only I'll eat (and there's still several portions of the same left!) so they've gone to m-i-l
few broken plastic coathangers (my kids tend to pull clothes off, rather than take the hanger out)
    Paper into recycling bin
Bin liner of cans to Cubs with DS1 last night
Card, plastic & tetrapaks to supermarket today
strange bar of unwanted (unused!) soap to homeless shelter via Guides

    Pending:
Am still sorting kids clothes (not any I've got from freecycle - that would be morally wrong!) for NCT sale at end of month. Also have a few items to list on ebay - but am severely lacking in motivation to do that.
Have some of our old internal doors in garage which we need to sort out and figure out which we're keeping for reuse in the investment property (hah! - not in current climate!) we have.
Am awaiting delivery in a couple of days of new bathroom suite for as yet unbuilt bathroom in loft :D

Am not really expecting any real progress to be made until loft is finished and we all start moving rooms (mass sort out then expected) :( New baby due in 3 months - so want as much done as poss before then - eek!

Ah well! At least we're just about managing an even keel, I suppose!

Not going too well over here; freecyclers in my area are proving a little demanding!

    IN:
    Nothing!

    OUT:
    Lots of paper to recycling
    Four bags to charity shop
Lots of bottles and cans to Tesco recycling machine - very therapeutic but I see they're no longer giving points for anything other than aluminium!
Small ebay items to second homes!
    Overpay!
  • Thursday is rapidly becoming my decluttering day (Friday is bin day!)

    So:

    Out:
Wheelie bin full of cardboard and paper
Black sack of shredded paper into compost
3 carriers of photographic magazines to Freecyclers

    In:
At long last! My Lost dvds!
    Tax rebate (yes!):T
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D
