Continuing declutter so far today - have filed away neatly into their new folders 'utilities' 'tv/broadband/phone' 'work stuff' 'house papers' 'car insurance' 'house insurance'
Ran out of folders now leaving receipts and bank stuff and guarantees then done! First lot anyway as still have 2 massive bags to get through but at least the desk is clear and tidy and I have cleared the bedroom floor at last.
Desk drawers are tidy now no big piles of paper stuffed in. What a huge job it is and not very pleasant. Pleased it is done and better buy some more sotrage to fit the rest into and tackle the other bags one by one!
Then at some point might feel like ebay listing as need to crack on with this!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Hah. Our declutter has been somewhat accellerated by the move happening in 7 days to a smaller flat...
This last month:
In:
Acer Aspire 1 netbook
Out:
A scanner
all in one HP printer
old parts
old clothes (to sister-in-law)
plastic greenhouse x2, to mother in law
2 oak half barrels (to mum for planters)
Trampette (advertised on community forum for the town I'm in)
A fridge (tip)
big desk (probably return to mum or scrap if not wanted)
There will be more, I know it.
On the upside, I found an IT Recycling company 3 miles from mum that have agreed to send out a van and collect all my old IT kit that I've accrued over the years (monitors/PCs/printers/modems/all manner of cack) and dispose of it for £20, all in one go. Excellent!0 -

You are all so good... you put me to shame. My biggest vice is ebay. I seem to constantly buying stuff on the cheap which never fits, so really need to stop it and get rid of the clutter that I have got. I also have piles of books and clothes which I just can't part with... stuff of sentimental value, in particular :S
Anyway I shall report back at the end of the week when I've (hopefully) got rid of some of it.0 -
