    Hi Sian....
How long and what temperature do these go in at ?? :o

    Thanks
    Potty :D

Edit.. ISOM... I might try and make these soon, and work out the WW points ;)

I worked out the points, assuming that Willow butter has the nutrional profile of regular butter and the toffees are 0.5 pts each then you have a whacking 3 pts per cookie! And I'm betting you wouldn't stop at 1! Reduced to Half-fat butter and you get 2 pts a cookie.

    sunnygirl,

the dental officer came to my mum and baby group to talk about babies teeth etc and she told us to buy any tooth paste that's 1000 ppm fluoride for babies.

So fergie can have very frugal toothpaste! thanks for the research :)
:T Funnily enough when I first used it I thought it tasted very similar to the McLeans Milk Teeth ;) We've used all the cheapy & on offer toothpastes for years and none of the children have any fillings or problems. DD & DS2 have braces on currently but that's more about the look of their teeth (plus DD had random teeth growing upwards & all over the show ) than the health. If Fergie is anything like my lot he'll chew the brush, clamp his teeth down on it & generally make it difficult for you to 'get in there' or is that just mine :o :rotfl:

Not been on much this weekend as I've been out in the garden & baking up a storm to fill the ever growing boys up. They seem to eat it all as fast as I can make it!

Hi Potty, if you search this thread for them you will find the recipe but to be honest it is pretty simple, cream butter and sugar, add egg and vanilla then sift in flour and salt. Add any extras, choc chips, toffee, smarties... Roll into walnut sized balls and squash. Place on a tray at 180 degrees for 7 mins... Bish Bash Bosh...

Hope everyone is still on the ground and not washed away by the rain :)
Managed to get some free tickets from see film first, never been in time before but happened to be by comp when the e-mail arrived. So, free cinema tomorrow :)

It's been dry as a bone here but DH was working only about 10 miles away and said there it was torrential rain and thunder there

Thanks for all the egg recipes and links (although maybe not the terrible jokes ;)) - we recently got 3 hens so it's lovely to have plenty of eggs and not have to ration them out.

So it's frittata and baked spuds for dinner tonight - (what's everyone else having?)

Don't forget the new series of Supersizers starts tonight! Think it's the 80's - perhaps the decade that the UK forgot how to cook? I was at school in the 80's - when I started we had Home Economics and learned to cook a few basic but useful recipes. But by the time I left, the subject had morphed into the dreaded "Food Technology"
    weaving through the chaos...

Finally had the spinach and potato curry for tea tonight which was lovely with some HM chapatis. Loads left over for another meal.

phizzimum, completely agree about Home Economics - was the same for me - can't wait for the Supersizes, loved the last series!

It's really funny where Giles Coren and Sue Perkins live the life of the age they are reinacting through food. This one is the 1980's and starts at 9pm on BBC2. Last series I remember they did WW2, and tudor, victorian (?), well worth a watch!
