  • Welcome to the board Kago, I'm sure you'll find it interesting, amusing and enlightening.

Re: ur query - Although I found it slightly tedious (I want things to be minimum effort and straightforward and I'm not really a poker person) I think it is worth it as long as you have a little patience waiting for the points to be credited. End of the day 500 points is a free fiver in rewards...

In relation to the love/hate PB ongoing 'debate', I'd like to add my tuppence worth and say I think Pigsback is great and as I have said previously, I am optimistic that they will sort out their issues. They understandably have a few hiccups and Darragh can't be everywhere at once so I say thank you for your help so far Darragh and may there be many more piggypoints to come!

    Hello everyone! :j

I`m a complete n00b (on this board) but I just have a quick question:
I`ve understood some here have bad experiences with Paddypowerpoker.com...
Is it worth signing up to get the 500 points?

    Thanks!

    Welcome Kago.
Well as I've done it once (quite a while ago), I'll try and explain what to do. Follow the instructions on pigsback on how to sign up, download the poker software and create your account. Choose the date you're going to play on pigsback and your points will be deducted straight away.
About 5 minutes before your game is due to start, go into your poker software and wait until the screen comes up for pigsback poker. Don't search round the poker site looking for it as it will come up automatically at approx 9pm.
I got my points although they came in 2 parts. I got 100 points and then about 3 days later I got 400 points.

Hope this helps. BTW I think you have to sign up for poker at least 1 day before the game starts. I know I decided at 6pm I would play that night but it wouldn't let me have the option of that nights play.
There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

Does anyone have the phone number for Pigsback? as the only one I can see on their site is the Irish number - I know there is a UK number somewhere I just can't find it.

[EDIT got the phone number now :)]

The two members of my family who are still awaiting Love2shop vouchers still haven't had a reply to the many emails so I am afraid a phone call is the only option. Pigsback would be improved massively if they would just sort out their communication issues - then people could sort out the individual problems directly with Pigsback. Anyway thats my two cents worth :)

Innovate - if you can't get Pigsback to answer RE the John Lewis points then go through quidco and get some cashback that way :)

I think everyone should calm down and make a choice whether they continue getting the free points offered each day and use them for what's on offer. I was concerned that the Love 2 shop vouchers were taken off and did consider leaving the site, but I decided to use my points for Cd's and the service has been excellent which in turn helped me make a decision to purchase through their site. The only time I feel I would have a case for complaint is If I don't receive the points for my purchases, because I could have got a higher percentage from Quidco. I like the site it's amusing and I enjoy logging on each day and the few minutes spent, have had more than enough rewards to make it worthwhile. A Carling weekend winner 3 love 2 shop vouchers and 4 CD's with enough for one more and hopefully when my points are added another 2 at least. I guess that's a good return. :T Well Done Pigsback....... I joined in July 05 so not bad for little effort
