Darragh chose to help people by coming on these boards. I suggest Darragh give up, considering how certain people have treated him. Certain posters have hounded him and been downright abusive to him. If you can't see the lack of civility on here, then you must be blind.

Oh, and give up on the condescension. If you go all the way back to the first ever PB thread, you'll find me on there. I've been an active member of these threads and these forums for a long time. Longer than you, in fact. I've also been a member of PB for longer than you.

(My first post on the original thread is post #18.)

To Darragh: If I were you, I wouldn't bother trying to help ungrateful sods who have nothing better to do than expect you to be at their beck and call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Seriously, walk away from those on here who find it very hard not to kick someone when they are genuinely trying to help. You deserve more respect than this.

Yay! I got my £8.75 off CD-Wow voucher and had my John Peel Tribute CD delivered today! That's a much better deal than the play.com £5 off thingy - pooh! :D

So thanks to Pigsback, to CD-Wow, to Darragh and all his colleagues...
At the end of the day, I would have made my purchases anyway regardless of whether I received points or not. If I get points, then that's a bonus but if not then I'd still continue to enjoy my purchases.

    Thanks :D

:rotfl: :rotfl: your definition of 'civil' must be rather strange, MyUserNamesTaken :rotfl: :rotfl: given the abuse you are now gracing me with!

I apologise if I have overlooked you on the Pigsback thread so far, just thought you might not have read the previous promises. If you find this condescending, I can't help it.

You didn't answer the question how you know that the majority of us are not buying on Pigsback.

Now you are stating that you have been a Pigsback member longer than I have. How do you know this? Do you have access to both, MSE and Pigsback registration data and can identify me?

Perhaps a few more facts and less emotion on your behalf are in order.
  • Not convinced that Darragh is the devil incarnate either.

I know people are just letting off steam cos things at Pigsback aren't perfect, but I've had lots of positive things from them (1 L2S voucher, 1CD and 1 leisure voucher) and spent very little. Can we be smily happy people and mention some of these a bit more? Please? Cos I'm starting to get a headache from reading this thread!

  • why should we continually accept promises that are never kept????

I'm disappointed to be honest pigsback want our continued "custom" but dont want to keep their own promises.

Yes fair play its for nothing but its still a let down!

I think some perspective is needed here. Imagine if a company like Boots or Tescos let a representative post here on their behalf- the thread would be gigantic! Also Pigsback has over 300,000 members in the UK so although mistakes are being made it would appear a reasonable percentage of their 'customers' are happy

If your not happy with Pigsback then vote with your mouse and don't use the site. Personally I think its a great site, a regular something for nothing and if I miss out once in while, then so be it.

Keep up the good work Pigsback and let us all enjoy the freebies for a long time to come.
