Where are their so many questions on here about Pigsback?. Could we have a sticky post where just post daily questions and crossword?.

look, Darragh comes here through choice, because (i think) he believes in Pigsback and wants it to be the best site like it.... so how about constructive critism instead of hurling abuse around!

I agree with that. However, PB (and Darragh) have to put up with comments like the following:

But why collate points? I applied for a £10 voucher (1150 points) back on August 8. Constructive criticism is one thing, but people posting and making threats when PB made it clear that they had run into difficulties with the L2S vouchers and offered to refund all the points to people's accounts, is hardly what I'd call constructive. Nor is having a go at the one member of pigsback staff who has come onto this site to try to solve the teething troubles the site is experiencing. Unfortunately, that is exactly what certain posters are doing.


You've got to ask yourself why people like innovate still use the site when he's obviously not happy with them. He made that post in September, yet he's still clicking away on the PB site and posting his complaints on here even though we're now nearly at the end of November. There's also the legal implication of making posts like that. What he posted there could be seen as libellous. He said that he felt PB was operating under false pretences. Now he's insinuating that I work for PB, which is hilarious in itself. If he'd only bothered to read through all the PB threads on this board, he'd see I don't work for them. Unfortunately, seeing as he only joined in the PB discussion in September (when he had a complaint and even though the first PB thread was started in July), I guess he must have missed many of my other contributions.

I can see this escalating into a huge row and a mod will be stepping in. For my part I am happy with Pigsback and if an error is made I'm sure I can live with it. I havent bought CDs for a long time as I have always found something I want more and now thanks to pigsback our familys Cd collection is building up nicely. I will continue to use Pigsback for the foreseeable future.

Kazzea has already started a "Questions for Darragh/PB" thread. Unfortunately, it got a bit out of control, as people were posting tons of queries and expecting answers straight away. The it became a bit of a "Slag off Darragh" thread because Darragh has a life and wasn't around to answer all the questions immediately after they'd been posted. I think Darragh ended up posting the pigsback email address for those with questions, to make it easier for Darragh to answer them individually.

Kazzea's idea was a good one. Sadly, it didn't really work. The other problem was that people weren't reading previously asked and answered questions (on the thread where Darragh made his appearance), causing people to repeat themselves and filling up the thread with duplicated questions at a rate of knots.

I probably shouldn't say this, but whenever I've had a problem with PB (and I have had a couple of hiccups), I've always phoned them up. That way, the problem gets sorted out. Now I'll apologise to the PB for the huge amount of phone calls they are likely to get due to this post.

I agree with you savingsgirl.

Pigsback is a good site, yes, it has got it's problems at the moment, but really I can't believe how worked up some people are getting about it.

Chill out everyone, there are a lot worse things to be getting worked up about. Give Pigsback a little time, I am sure they will come through in the end.

It never fails to amaze me how greedy and selfish some people can be!!!

Pigsback is a site that takes 30 secs a day visit each day, 7 clicks later you are on your way to geting FREE.....yes FREE goods!

You can even gamble your points and get the freebies quicker!

On top of that their are weekly bonus points!!

Yet still people complain!

If you are going to moan and complain then the best way is to just leave Pigsback alone and !!!!!! off elsewhere!
