Prehaps I am being a little dense here...but what is everyones problems!!! You choose to use Pigsback, no one is forcing you! if you don't like it surely you should just stop using it! At the end of the day Pigsback are doing us favours but giving us "free money" but just looking at a few adverts every week! I am now ordering my second "free" cd from Cd-wow and I have absoloutley no complaints! if the quiz hasn't started I don't get a strop on I either check back later or don't worry about it and just do it the next day!
Prehaps I have been a lucky one as I have always had my points on time and never had a problem but I am certainly a Pigsback fan! and if it wasn't for people like droopsnout we would have less chance of winning the competions. I for one and grateful for the help0 -

In order for the thread to calm down, I think it best if I make no further criticisms of PB.
I don't think that's the way forward, droop. Personally, I like most of your contributions to this thread. However, when it comes to criticism, it needs to be constructive. Not referring to any specific poster, but many valid criticisms on this thread are spoiled by snide comments and nasty remarks. All I'm saying is that people should contribute in a constructive way. Pigsback needs the criticism in order to improve their site. However, there's no need for all the threats and nasty remarks some people are making on here.
As stated in an earlier post, whenever I've had a problem with PB, I've phoned them up. Normally, it's been sorted out over the phone. Sometimes it has taken a little longer. However, it has always been sorted. I called Darragh yesterday because I still hadn't had my Lottery points. He said he'd phone me back within 30 minutes to give him a chance to look into it. He actually phoned back within 5 minutes to let me know he'd added the points himself. When one of my L2S vouchers disappeared, Kelly sorted it out for me. If people with problems went about things in a civil and pleasant way, they will get the response they want. Things will get sorted.
If you speak to any of the PB team on the phone, you'll find that they are all very pleasant and helpful individuals. They are all trying really hard to make PB a success. After all, their jobs depend on it! It's frustrating enough for them when things go wrong (and they know some of the stuff going wrong on the site), then to face a barrage of abuse on here just makes the whole matter worse. Darragh's trying hard to help people here and to take onboard any valid criticisms. He's even asked for suggestions for the site.
When people didn't get their lottery points, I called Darragh. He explained to me what the problem was. PB went through a third party tracker to the Lottery site. The third party tracker did not track everyone's applications. This led to PB being given incomplete information as to exactly who had signed up, which meant many people did not get their points. This was not down to PB, but to the third party tracker. Darragh told me this because I phoned to ask about the points. He then posted on here for anyone who had not received their points to email PB. This led to the situation getting sorted out. See what I mean? It's all about communicating effectively. If you're nice and show genuine concern and understanding of the problems faced by this new company, they will listen.
(Sorry for the long post.)
EDIT: Incidentally, Darragh told me yesterday that they get no end of nasty, vicious and downright insulting emails that they have to deal with, too. So, they are getting attacked in many ways.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

These threads are so huge I cant find what I need to know. I signed up yesterday and have found some points, but what is the technique for finding them all? Most of the adverts on my home page are spend xx get so many piggy points. Very few are free points, haven't seen any surveys etc. I realise that kind people like cleo above post some, but where should I look myself?
Sorry if this is a really obvious question, but as a newbie its not obvious to me!
Thanks for any advice.0 -

Pigsback is a site that takes 30 secs a day visit each day, 7 clicks later you are on your way to geting FREE.....yes FREE goods!

Try the crossword comp daily to win 2000 piggy points(droopsnout usually gives us the answers daily ) and then do the trivia quiz and you could win 1000 points. Ona Monday about lunch time you may get some click thrus on the front page worth 10 points remember to refresh your page there can be as many as 6 (60points).
If you are really lazy like me log onto this thread everyday to get updates on what comps and extra points are available. That's it and of course order through the site and get lots more points
