  • I really hope I didn't sound dismissive of what is obviously a really horrible situation. I think you've encapsulated what I kind of meant, when you've said you're handing it over to a higher power. Sometimes there's really nothing left to do - but walk away.
they will know that you've always thought about them, and never stopped loving them, in spite of the circumstances, which are now way way beyond your control. Thinking of you honey. :o
Oh no no no honey you didn't sound dismissive. To be honest I was really nervous about how much I had shared. I am not used to talking about such private things on a forum like this. So I was worried about being seen as a moaner or complainer I guess..:o . Thank you for being so caring.:A

Diva didnt mean to offend you - I probably didnt explain myself very well - anyway I know you will cope with it in the best way you can - meanwhile enjoy the love and happiness of the family around you - she is missing out on that. TOOTS XX[/quote]
Oh gosh honey, did I sound offended.. I really really wasn't, you were really kind, I just wanted you to know that although your suggestion was a really good one, I had already hit a brick wall with that. I am sorry if I sounded 'off'... :o I am just very grateful that you cared enough to offer advice. :A thank you again, and yes, my partner is being very loving and supportive which is just as well as he is the only family I have left now! :rotfl: (You have to laugh...)
Sexymouse - yes please, always available for hugs!

Ok, back on topic - tonight I started tidying up my desk (which is a mammoth task so I am very pleased with myself!
Plus all three decoraters have now been up to give me a quote on my bathroom, so thats another job off the list. I guess I work harder when I am trying not to think too much!!
I also picked over 5lbs of tomatoes from the garden today and over 1lb were ripe.. the rest are going to be chutney by the end of tomorrow!

Will be back to normal posting tomorrow but thank you all SO much for all the support and help and if I haven't mentioned you I apologise profusely.

    *hugs to all*

Oh wuggery wuggery wollocks.... (that's the clean version!) just heard on the radio that there one lane and a layby is coned off on the main dual carriageway I use to get work. This can only mean there's a traffic census on (they've been doing these for a while now). I bet they'll have set one up on the only back road out too. I'd best dash to the bathroom now and leave early for work

    Have a good day ladies

Hugs to Toots - take care there
Mudders - how exciting about the dog!

Anyone else who wants one - have a hug too.
