Hi Maria and Happy New Year!

Sorry to hear things aren't going well with your dad, but hopefully now your OH is going to be saving soon it won't be long til you are free in your own house.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you anyway.

Just wanted to say that due to reading your diary I have felt inspired to start one now as well and already i'm finding it kinda therapeutic to write stuff down so thanks for that!

I don't think i'll be debt free any time soon, but certainly hoping to knock a bit off this year.

I was also wondering if you would mind pm'ing me the sites you use to earn your vouchers when you have a spare five mins? If there are any referal links or anything that work in your favour i'll use them too?

I am already with TNS and Valued Opinions but wondered if you know any other good ones I can try (beyond the obvious luncheon voucher one that I can't get into lol).

    Thank you

Awwww! Thanks debz, im glad my diary my have helped you in some way:j

If just found your diary and look forward to you knocking some of that debt off!

Ive PM'd you about the voucher sites ;)

Wish they would hurry up! makes me laugh only one is a postal voucher the other is an amazon email voucher. I will check when i ordered them tonight and email them to hurry up.;)

Also i still havent received the ipod shuffle from qype yet. But i dont think anyone esle has either.

Ive just done the Blockbuster trial for OH now on quidco so he now has £7.50 coming his way if it tracks properly and 2 dvd's of my choice to watch! :)

Ive also just listed my Wii games i dont want on a car forum that i go on, to see if anyone on there wants them before i list on play or ebay. Im trying to dodge the selling fees first!;)

I have tones of car bits still in the shed that needs to go on the car forum, there just so heavy and i dont no how much postage will cost. So need to get weighing them and listing them 2moz!

I really want to be at £3000 in my ISA by start of Feb!!! So £700 to find in 3 1/2 weeks.

Ive sent them an email asking whats going on, im not having them charge me for it when i sent it back with the other one in same pack!

Moving on ive seen Quidco are doing £8 for a free experian credit check trial. So i will do that for me and OH later. OH wanted to check his credit history again anyway so bonus!;)

Ive counted my penny's up and have £3 worth to pay into bank 2moz. i alwasy pay pennys into a different account i have as the bank is near my house, hopefully i have £10 worth in there now and can withdraw it from cashpoint.

    Hi :D

Just a quick update, I gave Blockbuster a call and they took the other dvd off my account, so i have now cancelled the trial.;)

Ive done a few more quidco clicks which should give me another £5 cashback. I havent got round to doing the credit report for £8 cashback yet.

OH is coming over soon to bring the 2 dvd's i ordered on his account and i have to cut his hair. Booooo i hate that job! I dont know why but when i cut it makes me sneeze non stop!

    Morning all,

Postie brought me a win this morning! A sexy curves rimmel mascara worth £7.99. Yay! my first win of 2009! Im must start doing comps again, i havent done them for a month now.
Also postie brought my a RAC mini card torch from the freebies section, which will come in very handy.:)

My things arent selling on play so i think im going to take them off and list them on rip off ebay after all as i want the money sooner rather than later.

Im off to look around then will be back with my list of to do's.

Ive just signed up to Gala bingo through WPT for £20 CB if you deposit and play through £5 plus you get £20 free bingo money. I have had a gala bingo account before and closed it so wasnt sure if it would let me sign up but it did and it is pending already on WPT. So fingers crossed the CB will go through ok.
Ive played through my £5 and now playing through the £20 free money. Fingers crossed i might win something!

Ive also just remembered my football pools bets end todaythat i did for the CB, so i may watch the man on sky sports talking about the games today with OH to see how my bets are doing!

    Evening all,

Ive had a thumping headache and a tight chest all day, im super stressed.

OH went to to a letting agent about a flat and to cut a long story short we have no hope of buying a home or renting a decent place until my OH's CCJ comes off his credit file in 2010!!! So basically our plans have been shattered and im feeling very down and unmotivated.

We are giving OH's nan back her £10k to keep save for us until that CCJ disappears and going to apply to go on the housing list. For council housing or to see if we can get on a low income scheme (to do that we need to be on the list).

To be honest i dont think we would of been able to afford a mortgage or private renting after adding up rent, bills and outgoings its just too much for us on our incomes. Then espically seeing as we wanted to start a family we would be paying out more than OH earns with just him at work.

OH feels awful and is kicking himself for being young and foolish when he got the CCJ. It was only for £60 DVLA fine! We were so excited for this year to come thinking we would have a place and a child.

So while we think what steps to take next i dont think i will be posting on my diary for a while as im so unmotivated i will bring the thread down.

Hopefully i will be back soon with better news. Speak to you all soon, keep up all your moneysaving! :)
