    Afternoon,

Ive just got in from staying over OH's last night, we had a good big long talk about things and im feeling alot more postive about things even with that nasty CCJ hanging over us. We're both going to work even harder for the deposit now as we're hoping to save more than £20k now.

Last night i told OH to go through his huge DVD collection and give me 5 dvd's that he no longer wants that i can put on ebay for him. He gave me 18 dvd's and 1 PS3 game! So that will keep me very busy listing those! I still havent listed my own stuff yet! but now my parents have gone out for the afternoon ive got a few hours i can list everything without getting disturbed.;)

Hope you raise some good cash, i really need to convince my OH to sell his faulty xbox.

I need to get his credit report done too so we can start working on it if needed.

Yeah he should sell it as he has a new Xbox now so dont need the broke one now. Hopefully your OH's credit report will be good. My OH wouldnt get the new free trial report on Quidco at the moment as he wants to check it in March when a loan with 2 missed payments should come off.

Last Feb when we checked he had one loan with 2 missed payments comes off MARCH 09, 2 credit cards one with 6 missed payments comes off in JUNE 2010! And another CC with 2 missed payments that should have come off already. Then the CCJ DEC 2010.:(

I cant believe the mess he got himself into, i was with him at the time i could of helped him if he would have just told me! Never mind. Its just a shame they last 6 years, thats such a long time.

We looked last night and if the CCJ wasnt there Halifax would give us £98K mortgage on our wages ATM. Im just hoping prices will still be low in 2010...well 2011 more like the time we will be able to buy. But we're still going to see what mortgages are available for bad historys as we could start on the high interest then once CCJ is off change mortgage to normal bank.

I think Nick might have a CCJ but not sure, we have been together 6 years next month and hes been fine since he was with me but was naughty when he was younger.

He hasn't had any credit though since we have been together so might have to get him a capital one or vanquis card to buy petrol or something with to start building it.

Yeah thats would my OH did got a capital one card, he buys everything on it then pays it off in full plus he has his contract mobile too.

Tell him he should sign up for the credit expert free trial, we both did it last year through quidco and cancelled by email after we had printed it off.

I don't know if they accept Visa debit cards though for registering a card and thats all he has. :(

He won't cancel it either so thinking of just getting a paper one for £2

Yeah paper one is just as good i had forgotten all about that!

I might tell my OH to get a paper report sent through too so we can look at it now rather than wait until march.
