Thanks for your bravery. I was about to try Roubi or Rania from the Arabic, and would have been wrong. So I will be watching out for a French spelling of the next answer. And from other people's wrong attempts, I guess that the number of dashes is the correct length of the answer.

The very first clue led me to the Alhambra website with Ibn Zamrak's quote "Sabika is a crown which decorates the face of Granada and the Alhambra is the RUBY that adorns it". Then I got lost trying to find a five letter word for ruby. I also wasted a lot of time finding two other poets called Ibn... and trying to track down their work. So my immense thanks go to you.
