Have people tried ruby and Ruby (cases sensitive?) because the above page really does make it look like thats the answer. Ooooo what about "aruby"

Its definately something to do with the Alhambra. The picture clue is one of the pictures of the Alhambra on the Via michelin guide (its picture number 10). The writing refers to a poet Ibn Zamrak but he seems to refer to the Alhambra being a ruby. Could the answer be the original word for ruby before it was translated into English ? Other possibility is calat as in calat al-hamra . Dont know if this helps
