I have just had a email from paypal saying that they have found in our favour and we are getting the full £99.99. I am pleased to have the money back, but I still want to see the thieving scum caught. Sorry to you people that are still fighting for the rest of the money.0

on my paypal account it says that the payment has been reversed(hurrah!) ,does this mean paypal have refunded me or does it mean that they never allowed the thieving git withdraw my money in the first place and have simply returned it to me(i hope he never got it)??good luck trying to get your money back everyone.

Seems that there is good new filtering through on here, well done you lucky people who got refunded. I bet you are all glued to the TV tomorrow evening to see if it gets a mention on WATCHDOG. I can only presume that the seller has agreed to refund you all, whether this has been done by enforement by the police or not it will be interesting to see. I think you will find he has been captured and has been forced to refund. I think by quick actions by the people on here we have ensured this scammer did not disappear into the sunset. Have any of you had feedback from the police ?0

if im honest i doubt the police has anything to do with it, infact i doubt they have done anything but issue people with the bog standard " we are looking into it" speech. ( for those who even got that )
i really hope everyone gets something back though, even if it is only £150 when u spent £300 it has to be be better than this scumbag getting away with every penny of our money. i only bought a £100 buggy, my sons main big pram was bought via glasgowpramcentre.co.uk ( who are very competative and offer a price promise and excellent home delivery service)
i will be VERY careful with ebay in future, xx0 -
As some of the buyers at present are not being refunded their full amounts it appears that any purchases made before the recent changes to Paypal buyer protection are being compensated in accordance with the old policy.
Hopefully paypal will honour the statements from their CS advisors, made to those who called, that a full refund would be forthcoming and if there is a shortfall in anyones refund, as advised contact paypal and ask them to review your claim.
Not sure that the seller has been made to repay the buyers, believe it is down to the Paypal Protection policy. Paypal compensate the buyer ( I understand that the listings stated £150 protection) and then seek repayment from the seller who in time (if not already locked up) will more than likely will see the debtcollector on their doorstep (as long as paypal can find a correct address!!!)
