Did you get the name of the person you were speaking to ? Did they say when they will get the £200 extra back to you ?

Go back to them and remind them of what you have been previously told, make a nuisance of yourself. Ask about their complaints proecedure and raise a complaint against paypal themselves for poor or misleading information.

It might not do any good, but it has to be worth a try. I kno wit is nowhere near the same maount of money but I recently got a payment of £7 back as a goodwill gesture as they felt their advisors had misled me on the phone and by email.

Thank you - I did call them again and the guy said that I will get the money back. I forgot to ask him for his name (( I will wait until tomorrow now and if I won't receive any comms from them I give the a shout again. Gosh so stressfull!

Well done you guys. We had a reply from Pay Pal saying that they have found in our favour but because we bought from him direct and he has no money in his account they can't give us anything. Feeling pants now!!!!!!!! Guess we have to go and argue with the bank. Great fun that will be. Feeling down now hope we can carry on the fight against this @&%*$!!!!!!!!

on my paypal account it says that the payment has been reversed(hurrah!) ,does this mean paypal have refunded me or does it mean that they never allowed the thieving git withdraw my money in the first place and have simply returned it to me(i hope he never got it)??good luck trying to get your money back everyone.
