I am registered on ebay as Pramaholicmummy! but this user name was take on here!

Hi i hope i am doing this right as i have never done this before! I had a message from Alistair through ebay about the scam that i have been caught up in! I ordered the XLR system, it was the 2007 style so i thought that was why it was so cheap! Stupid me! Anyway i have disputed through paypal - but if you read the small print it says unless the money is still in the sellers account they can't give you a refund, very unlikely that he has left the money he conned us all out of in there, so good luck!

I have just reported this to the police as Alistair requested i do. I rang it through and the lady i spoke to has asked that anyone else that phones could they please provide the address that discount buggies has says they are located at. Its on their website under contact us. Please do this as we all need our money back, and this man caught!

I'll just ask again , did anyone register a claim with paypal before the 8th october that is still outstanding? I know most people registered after the failed deliveries on the 8th which means that the 10 days are up on saturday but it would be interesting to see if anyone jumped ship earlier and what paypal are telling them.

Can I too add my name to those ripped off :mad: ! I thought it looked too good to be true, but paid via my CC on his website, so hope that my bank will refund me. I have sent them a link to this thread!!!

Paying by credit card probably means you are Ok for a refund, make sure you tell your CC company that you want to open a formal chargeback for item not received, don't let them flim flam you.

hi all,i emailed the police 2 days ago but have had no reply yet.ill email again tomorrow morning if ive recieved nothing by then.i paid £90 through paypal, put a dispute and then a claim in on the 8th too so am just waiting for saturday(why do i feel so pessimistic about getting anything back!!):rolleyes:
