The latest news on my claim

I recieved a telephone call from the dispute department of Egg

Basically it was just to say my claim has been sent to the legal department and could I send them copies of my letter from Atol and all my documentation from my Atol claim which I have done recorded delivery.

We will see what their next response is!!!!

We received our cheque in the post today :j It was quicker than she said it would be too. We are very pleased and so glad we have finally gotten our money back.

Hope everybody else gets theirs soon too

Hi, I was just wondering when the last two posters had their claims acknowledged. I received mine on the 10th December along with claim number. Trying to estimate how much longer my refund might be.

I didn't have my claim acknowledged as such, I rang Thomsons a few weeks ago and they gave me the claim number. I don't know when the claim was actually submitted to ATOL.

Dear All

I was contacted by the CAA end of December asking for original invoice. I booked with Travelcity direct so only have printout. I sent this plus my bank statement showing the money going out. I have had no response, I sent a E Mail last week still no reply. has anyone been paid out when booked via the INTERNET.

Yes friends of ours were paid out in December, they did have a paper invoice though sent from Travel City Direct.

What number did your claim number start with??

Was it something like 009?

My Claim Number is 30019XX (Freedom Flights) - acknowledged on 10th December 2008 by CEGA, but heard nothing since.

I found the date she gave me and it looks like it was submitted on the 24th October.
