Pippa - (((hugs))) to DGD - what a shame she couldn't start school on the first day. Good luck to DS2 too.
Charlie's Mum - thinking of you all for the wedding tomorrow! I can't wait to see the photos! Have a great time.
Joannasmum - so glad that DH is home!
Well, what was a lovely sunny day is now pouring with rain so I had to get the washing in but at least it had dried. I just have some on the covered washing line now. I must admit the results I am getting with the soapnuts are brilliant. DH reckons they're one of the best MSE things I've 'introduced into this house' as he put it!
Well, I'd better run the hoover round now that I've dusted and then I'll do a bit of knitting before dinner. Babysitting tonight for DS1 and DIL but will come back on her to see if Beth has reported back.
Beth - if you're reading this, (((hugs))) to you and Ben. Let's hope there's been good news.
I'm off.

Moliere - I shall be blaming you when I start putting on weight, saw your tip about the cheaper evap milk in co-op, I love it on my porridge, but can only begin to imagine how many calories it has!
Well I've heard from my df, his sister's case has been referred to the crown court, as apparently they think the girls who attacked her are dangerous! Well no sh*t sherlock! Normal people don't go around attacking others! Anyway she is okay about it all, even though it is still hanging over her head iyswim, it was totally unexpected that it was referred on apparently.GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
Afternoon all,
Have been on the road all day, driving 3 different vehicles and at this stage want to sleep....kitchen is worse than a bomb site as new doorway has been broken through to-day, so pub dinner when we get round to it . In my running around managed to match the old doors so we now will have a 'complete' kitchen, thought that there would be a difference but by some piece of good luck we have got what we wanted!
Happy birthday to Mrs Mix and Biff:bdaycake::bdaycake:
Beth, so glad that you have spoken to your OH, hopefully all will be well soon, why don't you insist on staying with him...they won't give you a bed I am sure but you will know what is happening from minute to minute...hugs.
Hugs to all in need or want and congratulations to all who are celebrating.
Have a good evening all

Charlies mum hope all goes well for you tomorrow, and the weather behaves itself
joannasmum all that time and worry for you both, ah well he will be home soon (((hugs))) to you both.
Thanks Kathy I hope she will be ok when she goes next week.
DS2 should be ok, they have been doing this show for the last 7 yrs and in all that time have only had 1 bad turn out due to the weather. I dont know if we are going down on Sunday, we usually do as it is a real good show with lots going on, there again its the weather, but there are a lot of other things under cover so we'll see.

Sorry, Mummysaver, about the evaporated milk - but it is lovely in porridge, isn't it? And the porridge is good for you!
Good luck to DF's sister.
(((Hugs))) to everyone. Don't know if I'll have a chance on here this evening because I'm babysitting but I will check to see if we've heard from Beth when I get in later.

Hello all!
Betheebee- My thoughts and prayers are with you and your DH, I am so glad you have spoken to him and know a little bit more about what is going on
JoannasMum - Glad your DH is out of hospital now
Mrs Mix - Have a great birthday
Well, I am finished for another week, except tomorrow. Weather is supposed to be nice for the weekend, so I will do all my washing and probably go to the carboot on Sunday. Not got any plans really for tonight, need to sort my wardrobe out a bit and will probably do a few Ebay listings.
Dinner shall be pea and prawn risotto. I might even finish the ironing!
Have a good one :beer:We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
Have just given DDs their home made sweet potato soup and they thoroughly enjoyed it.
DD(19) goes out for a meal tomorow night as it is her last night before going back to uni, but has pleaded for sweet potato burgers for her lunch.
DD(14) is managing to eat some light food and has not been sick today!!! Yippee!
Going through to sit with her now."This site is addictive!"
