Happy Birthday Mrs Mix
The birthday present you described that DH got you is very interesting.
Move over HH. I'll toast you tonight.
Troo DGS hand's are coming along. I still bandage them, mainly to keep the *baind-aids* in place. Nothing sticks to the palms of his hands etc so the bandages helps. Everytime we go out he tells everybody he burnt his hands. The council men all know us. I asked them today would they move some dirt of ours out the back and they said yes.
PP My comments weren't said to upset you. Just that after so many problems with so many cleaners you might need to look at the situation from another angle. Works for me anyway.
DH is home now and he & DGS is out watering. Freedom & peace for 10 mins.. All mine.
Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

A quick good morning to everyone
:bdaycake: Mrs_Mix
(((BethB)))))))) I know how you must be feeling as I had a scare with my DH in Spain in Feb., thankfully it turned out to be a false alarm. Tbh though, wild horses wouldn't of kept me from being there with him.
((Elona, Joannesmummy, smokey)) and (((hugs))) to everyone else who'd like one.
((Pen-Pin)) - not everyone is a good ironer, and finding good help is not easy, I was lucky and my last cleaner/ironer was with me for 14 years, and could out iron me (not very hard), before that was a little hit and miss. I find that word of mouth is the best way to find folk. My friend who is blind has had problems tried 3, but thinks she has found a good one now. Do you know any church or old age groups as these are the sort of folk where most of my info has come from? Short changing on hours is not a goer at all and is simply THEFT. Had she left a note to say she could only stay . . and would make the time up later or had only taken the money for that time it would have been different. Yes you maybe are a little fussy, but that is your right, it your money after all. Painful though it is you may have to keep trying. But give this one the chance to say why she left early without leaving a note, and whether she can sort her child care out.
Me, well the work on the bedroom/ensuite is all but finished and I am very pleased with it, piccys later, the house is dusty from end to the other, and all the clothes and clutter needs to go back in, did most of my clothes last night up to 11.30pm. DH's are bagged in the loft!! S*d it - I am going out in the 'van for the weekend, I need to get away and switch off, it will still be dusty when I get back (Oh for my ex-cleaner to come and do her magic wand trick). Socialising with friends sounds much more appealling than housework. Another vote here for glucosamine with chondroitin must be 1000-1500mg and 400mg respectively, glucosamine for joints and chondroitin for cartilage is the theory, helps mine but so does the sun/heat:rolleyes:
Catch you later.

Good morning all
Happy Birthday mrs mix! Have a wonderful day.
Betheebee hope your DH had a comfortable night.
(((hugs))) to all who need them - unfortunately the list seems to grow ever longer.
Quick post from me. It's Friday! And it's the last day in the office on my own! Suffice to say, I will do some tidying up and general office work but won't be doing my usual in trying to get as much done to make boss's return to w*rk easier next week.
My second boss gave me loads of apples from his trees yesterday so DD and I sat and peeled, cored, chopped and stewed most of them. I will make a pie or two today and then freeze the rest for use in the future. DD also helped me make a kiwi cheesecake yesterday and then she made some jam tarts. She did very well. Now, if I can just get her doing main meals, I'll be sorted. :T
I need tea so I'm off. Have a fantastic Friday. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Happy Birthday Mrs Mix.
Well DH was moved to the respitory ward at MIDNIGHT!! We have no idea why I think its todo with goverment targets so he did'nt breach the waiting time on the accessment unit.
I also had a hysterical Dsis on the phone at 6am she'd just got in her car switched the radio on and heard the news about XL travel. She was due to go to Egypt with them next week. So I calmed her down and hope that they get there money back.
Isn't life grand, I'm going to have a large drink tonight.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -

Morning!
Sun's shining today, yippee! Might mean that the towels I hung out yesterday when the wind finally dropped will dry out, cos as soon as I'd walked back indoors the heavens opened!
Please all keep everything crossed for my friend's sister, she is in court today for the prosecution of the girls who attacked her a couple of months ago. I think as I said the other day one of the girls had only just been released from a remand centre, if that's what they're called, and was wearing one of those electronic ankle things to monitor her, she shouldn't even have been where the attack happened. The case is due to be heard at 9.30am, so hopefully it will all be dealt with by lunchtime, and my friend's sis can put it all finally behind her. She is still very nervous about going out, and my friend has been collecting her from work, and when we went out for a drink the other day she came with us and I had to accompany her to the loo. It is just terrible that it happened and I have no idea what made these girls think that it was okay to attack anyone.
Off to catch up now, cya all in a bit xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000
