Not raining yet today, its meant to be later, , just right for trying to get Oh heavy work clothes done. Off to w**k again today, should have caught up by the end of today.

Got a hm lasagne out of the freezer this morning, so will have that for tea, with some fresh tomatoes, that I found lurking in the fridge, and garlic bread, yum.

Will have a swipe around before work, and when I get back I want to make up some bread dough, so that in the morning, I can get up and shove a loaf in the oven, fresh bread for breakfast :T , I don't have a bm, and not sure I want one cluttering up the counter, ( I am a neat freak :o ).

    N9eav, enjoy the fishing x

Whatty, thanks for the photo hun :D , brightened my day :T

((( Hugs ))) Beth, hope your OH feels better soon

Lots to do today before the wedding tomorrow. I am going to have my hair done later, and I want to get a pair of black trousers as I intend to get changed after the meal. Just listening to the weather, and it doesn't look too bad, so keep your fingers crossed for us

Taking Charlie and our cat into kennels later as we are staying at a hotel tomorrow night. We are looking after DGD tomorrow night, so may not get much sleep

Not sure what's for dinner, may be DH will take me out :D

Have a great day everyone x
You're only young once, but you can be immature forever :D

PP, I think your phrase 'in a professional environment' I hope I haven't misquoted you, hits the nail on the head. Because it is your home it isn't treated in a professional manner, I'm not saying it's right, but it is probably how your helper views it. You obviously have very high standards & need someone who has the same, if I had someone in to do my ironing, I'd automatically issue her with an avalanche beacon & a shovel so she could be found easily at home time.
Hugs to all those in need especially those whos' DH's are not well.

I am over the moon, delirious with with joy, BIL was so excited about starting a new life in his new house he left during the night, he was too excited to sleep so he woke up this morning in his new house.
He & hubby have no work today, but have work tomorrow weather permitting.
I'm off to work in a minute, have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

  • OOOOOOOOOO I Ache!!!

Hello all, went to allotment yesterday and done some more digging. (hence the title!) Managed to put in some cabbage plug plants this time round.

Got work today and then Mr T's. Wanna make up a large batch of chilli and lasagne for freezer so need to stock up on the basics. Also need to sort out clothes for the winter. Did we have any summer at all??? Doesnt feel like it.

Oh well, at least were not stranded in some hot, friendly, foreign country and having to while away our time in a bar on the beach.........:o :o

Have a great day everyone - hugs to all

  • Good Morning All

(((((((hugs))))))) to all those who need one, especially Beth, Candygirl & PP. I have added extra as seem a lot of people need one today.

    N9eav - have a great day fishing.

PP - to be truthful in the old days when I had various different cleaners not one did everything to my satisfaction. When I talk to people who have them most say the same I think anyone is just very very lucky who gets one who does things to their own standard.

Well had a pretty miserable day yesteday, spent the morning with DD sorting her brace and the girl can moan for England - obivously I love her to death but she is at that teenage stage where everything is so hard for her in her eyes when actually she has life pretty darn easy iykwim. Anyway think it brought me down & I was fed up and very snappy for the rest of the day - the family were very wary of me last night!!

Anyway heres hoping for a better day today, though the weather is horrible at the moment. Have a load of washing in the machine which I need to dry somehow, also must wash my kitchen floor as it is now mud coloured rather than cream.

Got to spend quite a bit of time in the office as well today - will try to get loads done so can have a restful weekend.

Pork kebabs with pitta bread for tea - will use the remoska again.

    Have a great day all.

Beth, I hope things are improving with you.

Morning everyone - another nightshift for me, so I'm back home for some breakfast and some sleep soon :) I got so much done last night which was good. I also pulled my CV up to scratch, with a great deal of help from a very lovely guy I work with who very kindly me lent me a template and gave a lot of advice. I just have to do the cover letter now and send it in :) (closing date is 30th and it's e-mail submission, so I have lots of time yet!)

OH caled last night, he is on his way back from philadelphia but it's an indirect flight so he won't be back until tommorrow.

Beth - hugs for you, thinking of you and your DH and hope today brings better news

Have a good day all, cel x
