You can get much better deals than that through referrals

I would be happy to refer you if you wish

    That would be excellent.

    Would they contact us direct?
  • I have Sky broadband (£5), Sky talk (£5) and standard box with 2 mixes and sky sports (£37)...... £47 in total. Wanted HD+ box which is being offered to new customers for £75 inc installation in todays paper!!!
Got thru to cancellations and best they would offer is HD+ £129 (inc. installation and free sky talk for 12 months saving £60).
Alternatively can have Sky+ box for £30 inc installation.
Is this the best offer I can get??? Naffs me off that new customers are better thought of than those of us who cough up month after month!!
  • was on basic tv and phone with bb at old house, moved to new one okay but wanted upgrade to multiroom with sky+
phoned a couple of times and best offer was £75 for box + £60 install.
saw posting on here regarding offers for new customers so tried again.
said about me cancelling and wife joining and got through to cancellation team.
final deal free box and £30 install - saving £120

    thanks posters
  • I thought husband and wife would be classed as the same household so you cancelling and the wife getting a new box in her name would be very good if allowed.
But I'm assuming from your post they just gave you the new deal.
  • Just phoned sky to cancel package (have 6 mixes, sky sports 1 and 4 movie channels for £39) in the hope of getting an offer. Was told there was nothing they could do on the package, the only thing they could offer was a broadband/calls package which was £7 less a month than I am paying now with Homecall but would go up to an extra £12 month after a year. I declined and they then went ahead to disconnect, where I quickly had to back peddle and say I would think about it! Is it worth trying them again, or is there no offers on at the mo?

i have just come to the end of the '£25 for 3 months' deal for sky sports plus 6 mix package.

i don't want all the 6 mixes so will be phoning up to cut back to 1 mix.

anyone else recently come to the end of this deal and phoned up to reduce and got offered anything?

    Apologies missed your reply.

They do once you have been referred.

If you haven't yet been more than happy to.
  • Hi, not sure if this the right place, but I recently subscribed to sky with the broadband, phone and tv for £17 a month, but now I want to add sky sports - however, sky are charging £36 for this in addition to the £17 (unlike new customers who can get all the products and sports for £36 in total - does anyone know if there is anyway around this? And if you do add sports, are you tied in to a further 12 months or can you cancel it at any time?

    Thanks!

Something is wrong somewhere. It should be the total of £36 even for existing customers, the minimum you need to keep is that of which you signed up for, the others you can change once a month. Though maybe Sky have started to put limits on these offers where if you do go for the bundle you are stuck with that bundle for 12 months and charged more to upgrade - though I've not heard of that.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!
