huge thanks to dchurch and CAG...my dd has just received £3200++, from hsbc..but interestingly she rang them and asked them to pay her court costs as well. They apologised for overlooking this and agreed to add them to the amount paid...thanks to all who helped. She is posting on CAG with the result

Yes, when you apply for the claim with the court you can claim up to the day of submission to the court.

    Hey Mika,

If you talking about entering a claim in the small claims court then I believe the following to be the site you looking for: https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk

  • Sorry if I haven't posted correctly. New onto the site. I have become fed up with my bank charging me for unpaid and reversal of direct debits. The direct debits being returned are for more than the £30 charge but Can I still try and get charges such as these back. Its HSBC bank.

    You sure can!

Have a good read of this thread and the links contained within it and you won't go far wrong.

You need to either fax and or reg'd post a letter to the head office with your request (you can use a pro-forma and just fill in your details) with the charges (date, reason and amount) all itemised.

    Await the results.

    Good Luck :)
