    some strange people about.......

In what way? If you're going to say something, you might as well say what you mean.

Bottom of this page has 2 people experiencing problems with 20016. The second one should be easy enough to avoid, how do I ensure my bookmarks remain unchanged?

What's the other one about being unable to visit certain web sites?

Your bookmarks are stored in C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

so you should not lose them, back them up to somewhere else if you are worried. Why not go for FF 3?

Yes, I think that was what he was saying too, but I asked him to explain -if he thought that & why he thought that.

    Thanks for the bookmark info.

Because FF3 is not compatible with Win 98

Ok look at this thread which the user is on
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=13999723#post13999723

and compare it to this thread which the user is not on
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1148459

Now do you not see that the first thread (above) the width of the text box (where the post message is displayed) is much greater than the width of the text box in the second thread?

Measure the width of the boxes including the username section (on the left) I have
    36.5cms
    21cms

The signature is distorting the all the threads - for me.

If nobody else can see what you can see then its a problem with your PC and not the sig I'm afraid.

I think you are strange, and i'm a she!

And why do you think that? It's like pulling teeth to get you to say something meaningful.
