OH had this phone call too - we always tell them no lol - you do have to say it a few times but eventually they get the picture. The number usually shows up as withheld so I just ignore it now. But I don't get the phonecalls on my account as have only given them my mobile details and not the landline! For those you have - sell them at whatever price you want, so long as you at least make your money back then you're fine, but if you don't think your customers will buy them even with a good discount then just send them all back!
Hi Lozza,
I'm not 100% how much I'm paying AVON for them! I wasn't listening lol!! I think it was either £8 or £10 for each set! I may have to phone them to find out :rotfl: I may just stick them on ebay or something and hope for the best!C14 £129, C15 £126 , C16 £442:T, C17 £290, C18 £215, C1 £1200 -
Waiting for my delivery and checked my invoice on line to find stuff marked as out of stock coming and stuff aparently in stock now out of stock. Had a few orders from 17 clearance catalogue which when I placed order showed as in stock. Had a few things from HT and clearance marked as out of stock but I left them in basically cos I was too lazy to delete them. Now I find stuff that was out of stock is coming and things that were in are not!!! Got 2 new customers and both of their orders are totally out of stock. Personally I think I won't bother with clearance from now on. Other than that my whole order was in stock which is good as only few small items from clearance were out. Some stuff fro my friend but pedicure slippers in next cat dearer so she will buy them then. great cos I didn't earn anything this month cos I spent so much for xmas fair and girls and relatives Xmas. tghing there will be big credits on the one before xmas if I don't shift it. As it held in the school I bought lots of 99p things for stocking fillers and also kids detangler shampoo etc as well as the £1.50 earrings , body sprays at 99p and the eyeliners at 99p cos they will do daughters friends at xmas.
Wish it would hurry up cos I got parents night this evening as well.I have never met a calorie yet I didn't like!!0 -
forgot to ask if anyone had gotten their ipod as it was showing as out of stock!!!I have never met a calorie yet I didn't like!!0

They tried to get me to buy these - they are £10 per set. When i asked what was actually in each set, I was disapointed with them - it didn't seem as good a deal as she was making out at the beginning of the phone call! When she said that she would put me down for 10 sets (£100:eek:), I told her not to bother!
I am annoyed with Avon today. I took part in the early ordering for campaign 17, and I ordered the Bench Watch, the Christmas earrings, some jewellry and a couple of photo frames. Anyway, it all arrived today, and instead of the online customer brochure price of £25 for the Bench watch, they have charged me the customer price of £30 (which is what they have put it up to now in the cat.) They have tried telling me that I have been charged the correct demo price - but I didn't order it as a demo. All the other items have been charged correctly, but I can't see why I should pay more for the watch, when they have decided to put the price up since I have ordered it.
Sometimes, I feel that Avon just couldn't care less about its reps :mad:0 -
I've been using bags from these people for ages now - their 8" x 11" is perfect for the books (in fact their picture shows it with an Avon book). They are very tough, zip top bags and work out at about 3p - 4p each, depending how many you buy. I find that mine last months, so they are really cost effective. If you have people who you know won't give the book back, or in flats where they don't need keeping dry, then you could always use cheap sandwich bags, although I have to say I don't bother.

Thanks for the tip, Elliebee, but maybe am doing something wrong? By the time you add in the postage then they more or less double in price? Will wait and see how my Lidl bags cope - 6p a bag though seems a lot to pay.....
Actually, the bags that our customer order forms arrive in - whilst not perfect - are actually better than the ones we've bought to protect our books. If you open them carefully they do self-seal again (bit of a pain to put your books in though as the books can stick to the sealing glue if you're not careful). Every little helps though!Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Hmmm sounds like a waste of money, time and effort. I may keep them until the intend to charge me for them, but I'm not going to bust a gut trying to shift them. The sets are £10 but you can buy them all indivdually for £11 so it's not a big money maker!!:rotfl:C14 £129, C15 £126 , C16 £442:T, C17 £290, C18 £215, C1 £1200 -
I bought the bags that EllieBee buys and I like them but agree with P&p, a little dear for my liking.
They are good solid bags and do last for ages except when customers leave them out days before you are collecting and it rains everyday.... then they do tend to absorb the rain.0 -
These are the bags that I use - they work out as 5p each when you buy 100, free P&P. However, if you visit their Ebay shop, they have got a sale on the larger packs for another 9 days - so the packs of 500 work out as 2.5p each, and 1000 work out as 2.14p each. It is the 8" x 11" bags that I use.
I have had a few things from this seller, and never had any problems.
