Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

Hi,
Ive just recently become a rep(tues!) and have been looking thru this thread and found alot of usefull tips, so thanks guys!
My ASM told me I only have till next wed to get my orders in for this campaign(17) so i havent got alot of time at all to start on and am only starting out selling to friends and family, can anyone suggest any ideas as to how to get some more orders/customers til wed? My boyf is helping out alot by taking some into work but im worried im not goin to get that many orders . Any advice would be grateful . Im hoping to sell door to door after this campaign to boost up my sales.

I just submitted by C17 - after a bit of a mad rush at the beginning it ended quite calmly which I appreciate... I probable won't do so well next month cause I'll be moving and panicking a lot but I'll give it my best shot!

Definately ask your friends/family for their help - my Mum takes a book into her workplace so I get a few more orders that way, and my sister shows a few of her neighbours that shes friends with as they don't have an avon lady, I send a gentleman from work home with a book for his wife lol and she orders, and MIL shows her friend a book (though MIL has become a rep herself now lol so I've lost 2 customers but gained a rep)./.....ask all the people you know if they would take a book to show their mum/sister/friends/neighbours/workplace - it might be that your friend or family member doesn't want to buy avon (like your male relatives perhaps!) but they could well know someone who does! If you are on facebook/myspace etc make sure it's know that you are now an avon lady that could well lead to other people asking you for a book! Good luck - so long as you get some orders don't worry too much, within a week isn't much time - next campaign you can get more sales!

can you buy cotton buds and cotton pads in the customer brochure? if so where??? page numbers?? im on camp 18 at the mo. please help lol

i had another question...ill come back when ve remembered what it is ha ha x

As far as I'm aware, they're only in HT - don't ever remember seeing them in the brochure

Can't find them in the brochures but they are in HT

thanks both of you. yes i found them in ht. one of my customers saw mine and said 'oh avon cotton buds eh??' i said i thought they were in the brochure...they SHOULD be! might start telling my customers they can order them if they want to lol

just spent this morning collecting in brochures that i dropped on wednesday - only lost about 15 and left notes telling them I would call again tomorrow. got 3 please don't bother me again's and 3 orders totalling £42 . not bad for a start I'm happy to have any orders at all !

My sister has promised me an order, my daughter work friend wants something as does a good friend of mine and I have to drop another 20is houses in my territory so fingers crossed I will make MOV.

hi all, collected my books in that i dropped off on wed. and guess what, i have 5 orders totalling 98.00 woohoo. i am sooo pleased. lets hope my other drops are as sucessful x
