Hi guys, i just picked up my first lot of books i dropped off on wednesday, dropped of bout 25, got all of 2 orders totalling £7.50, whoo hoo, now thinking to self is it all worth it, got to go back and pick some up tomorrow as people didnt leave them out, still few houses to do in a week, so im praying have more luck.

Hiya - don't give up! I have only been able to drop so far to a few houses around us and no orders yet, am going to try and do my first big drop tomorrow so fingers crossed (its going to chuck it down tomorrow).

The biggest hint I've taken from here so far is that you've got to build trust, and that might take a few drops. Frustrating when you are paying for books, I know, but its right I think that some people will just be waiting to see if you are sticking around.

Is your territory all roads which have been covered previously by another rep? Mine's all new houses, some of which have been canvassed before.

Here's a funny story. One of my roads only has 6 houses on it, and I got all excited when I saw that 3 of them have ordered before! Wow what a short road to make money on, thinks I. Until my OH pointed out that the potential for that road has been recorded previously as a grand total of £7.50!!! :rotfl:

OMG!!!!:mad: Some of you may remember earlier in the week I posted about my MIL having problems with her territory.....she had new territory given to her, she took the books wednesday for us to collect today for her (shes on holiday thankfully).....only to be rung up by the asm saying that a PC lady covers that area even though she shouldn't and has given her grief about the fact that books have been delivered on her patch....asm asking when did you last canvass - PC response, o I don't bother because I know who orders!!!! So why get annoyed when someone else canvasses streets that aren't even yours then!!!!!!!

When collecting the books today, had one old lady tell me off, and say well your ages behind with your books anyway (she had a 16 brochure delivered when we are on 17, so perfectly fine!!!) cheeky mare!!! OH said I should have burst into tears to make her feel guilty lol and make up some sob story of loosing home or something if I don't make enough money!

Haven't told MIL yet about these new problems, there were 2 orders, so she is up to £65 from territory orders and £77 including her friends orders - but if we tell her about these extra problems theres a fair chance she'll give up (which I wouldn't blame her for, to have the same problems on 2 lots of territory within a week of starting!)....so we're going to deliver books to the remainder of this territory tomorrow to collect Monday in time for her order deadline of Tuesday - just praying we get some more orders in time until the asm can sort her some territory for next campaign!!! Why do some reps make things so difficult!!!

Ok - rant over lol!!!!

i ended up with 190ish worth of orders thats with getting my first lot of books out on friday (recanvassing aftera 3 month break ) then having teh order in wednesday so not bad for 5 days

my lovely ASM has dropped off 20 more c.17 so that i can recanvass the rest of my territory...so have to get onto that tomorrow...hopefully get a few more orders and customers ready for c.18

Well the bra lady is still ordering, every book she orders 2 enhancer bras without fail , cant see how anyone could order so many bras

I neeeeeed to deliver some brochures, just been so busy I've only delivered to 8 of my 200ish houses (the ones who ordered last time), luckily I've got 9 days left and lots of books :T:T
