Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

I had a customer knocking on my door to give me back her books and tell me that I hadn't been in touch with her to tell her when the books were due back! I write on her form everytime, the tuesday before order day as I don't want her leaving it until the last minute.
She came when it was my son's dinnertime, which she knew, and I made broad hints about how it was din din time for him and he needed to come in the house and eat, and eventually she took the hint and left, but as she left, my son started crying his eyes out!
So annoyed, and then she was saying I will bring my son to see you next time and I was thinking no you won't. You normally just put the books through my letterbox.0 -
You should be able to order one freebie for every £10 your customers have spent on the relevant pages, ie 2 people ordering £5 each = 1 free gift, 4 people ordering £3 = 1 free gift. Also, the spend is given as £10 or more, so if your customer spends £30 she is only entitled to 1 freebie (which leaves you with 2 spare
)
I have a feeling a lot of Reps will receive an 'out of stock' message on this one.
Especially with creative ordering and for every £10 order. For example if I was to get a similar total order as the last campaign (say £500 to be rounded - excluding brochures, bags etc) does that mean that I would effectively be able to order 50 free mascara and voucher bundles?! thats just madness!!!

I thought I would qualify for free gifts as I hit target on campaigns 5 and 6 and can understand the fragrance samples and vanity bag but not sure why I am getting another demo bag?? not to be grumbled at I suppose!!0 -

The demo bag is for achieving £1500 in your first six camps - I got it as well and find it very useful! hthLBM 31/01/2009: £19,422

You would need to become a sales leader in order to get anything and even so you need at least 5 reps placing orders in your team to earn commission on their sales. If you are interested you could ask your upline about becoming a sl. hthLBM 31/01/2009: £19,422

My SL said he would give me £10 if I ever refer a rep to him. See if your SL does something similar?0 -
My SL offers £5 gift vouchers for referrals.0

here is abit of the email it is also on my messages on avon
Area-please read ASAP
Hi All,
I am getting more and more calls or emails on a daily basis that an other Representative is all over some one else|s Area?
This is NOT acceptable, if you require area you need to contact my self and request it either via phone or email, you DO NOT just take it as read and off your own back you can go ahead and just do an area because it takes your fancy, you cant.
Ask your self; if you are given an area and worked hard at getting your customer base and rappor with your customers and some one came along and took them from you, how would you feel????"Annoyed" yes?
Hmm.... Seems to me they can't have it both ways i.e. either agents are self-employed or Avon can dictate on items such as territory. Am told that Area Managers are actually employees of Avon, in which case the above email is hardly promoting a professional image!
As far as I'm concerned 'given territory' is actually a helping hand from Avon to new agents i.e. to get them started. Free trade is what the global economy is built on and everyone has a right to choose their own agent. I've been given quite a few orders by customers, who are not happy with their existing agent (lost orders, not turning up when they say they will, leaving them without deliveries in the run-up to Christmas even!! ) Such agents give the rest of us a bad name and for Avon/ASL to try and tell us we can only canvass where they say is ludicrous.
We should all be trying to help each other, shouldn't we?
