Hi, a friend of mine is concidering joining Avon as a rep and has completed the online enquiry form and is waiting to be contacted. Being an impatient soul she is wondering if there is a speedier way of getting in touch with the recruiter for her area ? (Swanage Dorset)

Hi Lise,

Am also a Newbie - just about to put in my 4th order. Last campaign I got a late order (day after I'd put in my regular order) so I did an additional order and that arrived the day before my regular order. Whether that's normal or not though, I've no idea.

Not sure but if you're ordering online you might as well try adding in three lots of freebies - sure it will only let you add what they reckon you're entitled to.

Hang in there funkyfish. With Christmas coming up, hopefully, the orders will appear from somewhere. Just keep plugging away - it's surprising where the orders do come from sometimes.

You should be able to order one freebie for every £10 your customers have spent on the relevant pages, ie 2 people ordering £5 each = 1 free gift, 4 people ordering £3 = 1 free gift. Also, the spend is given as £10 or more, so if your customer spends £30 she is only entitled to 1 freebie (which leaves you with 2 spare )

You dont have to justify to Avon who ordered what and amount so can add all the orders together to make up the value for freebies. They will adjust and advise you if you have ordered more freebies than you can have. I've done this many times :cool:

oh no

things are really not going well.

on my 1st campaign, i gave books to f+f's and deliverd a total of approx 75 books. got 3 orders from books then few from family to 'get me going'- order £70.31.....
on my 2nd campaign now, i deliverd and last night collected 45 books and have 2 orders... during collecting i was told by many diffrent people, 'someone does this road'. i was told 3 diffrent girls name who apparently do that road!?!?! i emailed my asm and asked and she said nobody was down to do it...
ive asked if she could put my name down as covering the rd or something but not had a reply. its really annoying because firstly, i dont want to be stepping on anyones feet! id never do that, secondly, im putting in all the legwork, the money buying brochures etc and it wudnt be fair for somemone else to get my orders...
my orders for this campaign stand at £ 18.... im really really disheartend.
i am really trying, i always do a little package, brochure in bag, order forms, ive made my own notes to include being really friendly, explaining when ill pick up etc n im getting nowhere
its actually costing me money as im not making the mov....

My first street I was assigned to I was told 'someone does this road' and he was quite rude so I snapped and said 'well she shouldn't as she's not assigned to it!' lol! But yes I wouldn't step on anyone's toes however 2 people in the street asked me to drop the next book off, but didn't want anything this time, so maybe she hadnt recanvassed in a while
I've found I can give a whole large street books out and only have 1 order, then a tiny street of mine got 3 orders! It really just depends on the people, so just try everywhere, and it doesn't hurt to try streets you're not assigned to (my only orders have come from territory which hasnt been given to me, but no one else is doing it!)

You know... I KNEW this and just clicked on there that a customer of mine spent £20 on make-up and I only put in 1 freebie, duh!
