Can some of the SLs that buy leads on flissys tell me how you contact them/ what you say when you phone them? I have seen some leads on there that I could do although they are not very local to me but still doable.LBM 31/01/2009: £19,422

I need to get motivated! It's drizzling outside so not delivering and already put collection day of Tue on the forms. Hope it stops later, I know I am being lazy and it actually doesn't take that much time, am thinking there's always tomorrow and now I buy enough cats that I can do nearly all my territory in one go as I am lazy!! How is everyone else getting on? x0

Just been out and delivered all my orders and books and look like a drowned rat!! It is really awful up here raining, windy and like the middle of night already:(:( On the plus though I have had some customers who have saved up to buy their chrimbo presents from this campaign :j. I only have a week to get this campaign done as I am then off to a wedding in prague yay0

Hi, I think Lozza said it doubles each campaign, so your first campaign would have been £200, now £400. But remember, £400 worth of orders, does not equal cost of orders, as this is the price customers pay, then there is the amount you pay Avon and then pay yourself.
Hi yes that sounds like me lol! Everyone has a credit limit - though the amount varies for each person, initially it is usually up to about £250, but I put a £400 order through on my first go and it was fine (though that was only £300 to avon, your limit is always the value of the products with your discount, not that amount it says in the book!) - various factors are taken into consideration, age, mortgage/rent, married or not, the type of area you live in, credit cards/store cards, how long you've had your bank account - though how they actually come up with the figure is a complete mystery to me lol!
Your credit limit will increase each time, as avon knows you will pay your balance, so they allow you to order more, it is more just your very first order that they may "hold" due to going over the limit, as obviously they have never dealt with you before and you may well never pay them - some reps don't!!!:mad:Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

The same as I would if it was a lead that came through my website - if you mean do you mention getting the details from someone else, I don't, if anyone ever asked I'd just say the person they applied to was too far away and I'm more local so am able to come and see them.
I just tend to ask if they've ever done avon before (if they have then they obviously know how things work), if they get an avon brochure regularly (gives you an idea of if there street might be free - though don't count on it, no end of people I go to see don't get a brochure and yet the asm says their street is taken!) - everything else I tend to tell them in person unless they ask anything specific, things come across easier in person and they are less likely to back out - as soon as a lot of people hear £15 then they might just decide no, but in person you can reassure them that it isn't much, they won't owe if they don't place an order so they may as well give it a go. I do make a point of saying that the £15 goes to avon and not me though - as otherwise I think a lot of people would think we get the money when obviously we don't!
It is worth travelling to sign people up, especially if your area is short on leads (mine is!) - but do check they are in before you leave to see them - some people might stand you up and then you would have wasted your petrol for nothing!!! I've had it happen to me before and it isn't fun!:rolleyes:Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Hi!
Not been here for ages but I've just completed my 1st year of Avon so I'm quite pleased! My sales have almost tripled since I started too
However, I'm moving house on Monday (2nd November) from area 362 to area 371. Can anyone tell me the upcoming order/delivery dates for this area please?
Many thanks!

Debt free in 4 years 11 months!0 -
Hi all,
I'm in quite a lot of debt and have just started mystery shopping and paid surveys and now i'm toying with the idea of avon. However my mum did it about 15 years ago and says she never made anything as you had to buy all the books and bags ect. I'm keen to give it a go and think people will buy in my area especially with christmas coming up but I have two questions. (Apologies if they've been covered) The amounts written in certain peoples signatures are they profits or sales? Do you have to sign up for a certain amount of campaigns?
Thankyou
Sarah:)Avon Newbie:)Camp 18 - £250, Camp 1 - £265, Camp 2 - £46, Camp 3 - £166Soon to be Sales Leader0
