I've just paid Avon by Giro slip at the PO (and added on the extra 50p). I'm sure Ive read/been told by my SL I need to input a code somewhere? Or am I imagining that! How long does it take for a GIRO payment to show on my account?

When you are placing your order, before submitting it, if you scroll down on the order page, you will see a box about - did you pay by Giro, put in the giro code number and amount paid.

This is to let Avon know you paid by Giro, but I think it is pretty quick and usually shows next day or day after.

I never bother filling in the box about payment when ordering, not sure its that important as it usually clears the next day

I only do it when paying at Post Office, which have stopped now as why I should pay them extra 50p each time?

We always pay at the post office, its the best and safest way for us, park right outside the door , not everyone has a bank nearby either :)

No, I pay online using debit card from account only set up for Avon.

But saying that our Post Office has just been shut down and nearest big one is 3 miles away. :(

I put the money into the bank where I have my avon bank account, and then pay online by debit card.

I'm on my 2nd campaign for Avon and have almost £400 worth of orders. I was just wondering how I could find out what my credit limit is or if anyone knows what it is for a newbie? As a student I cannot afford to pay a lot up front.
    Thanks in advance

I got an eletronic receipt from using the PO, but don't have a 4 number reference number to input onto the Avon order page, only the 4 digit ref number on giro slip 2 which is only used when paying in at HSBC!
