Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

Hi Guys,
Am finally back after sorting delivery/new orders and getting over visitors.....
Couple of queries:
1. The figures some people are quoting for each campaign - is that the amount due to Avon or the qualifying amount re. PC? (Just wondering how I'm comparing.... :rotfl:)
2. Has anyone else had problems in C17 re. the Buy One, Get One Half Price offer? Had a customer who's ordered one item @ £15 and one @ £10 i.e. £20 due but because other customers have ordered lesser value items i.e. £10 and £8, it's still showing the higher value items at full price and the lower value items at half price. Just spent ages trying to make sure everyone is charged the right amount (or more to the point, if they return the item that I get credited with the correct amount) but deffo not easy. Am I making it too difficult for myself or just missing something i.e. does it not actually matter?

my ds loves delivery day especially if he gets to helps he's only 2 so now my brother comes round to keep ds occupied whilst i go in the kitchen to do orders. i am hoping c17 is as good as c16, i think c17 brochure has better offers, like the eyeliner @99p and the spend £10 on makeup and get mascara and a voucher. but we will see, fingers crossed, good luck to all those who are struggling im sure it will turn out fine.0

The example you show you will be charged £34 but also collect £34. Offers like that i find its a case of sitting down and working out, but make job more work then. You may even gain but you really dont want to loose.
Just had quick look and worked some out, dont think there will be any difference. Does say lower items at half price, which is usually the case. But Avon dont know who has ordered what
eg Cust 1 £18 and £14 = £25 to pay Cust 2 ££16 and £14 = ££23 to pay. Avon charge £18 + £16 =£34 plus 2 at half price of £7 each = £14 Total for both is £48:female:0 -
I'm a bit peed off with the delivery date for C18! I get my delivery on 23/12, but straight from work on 23/12 I am away for the night and not back until 24th
Most of my customers are at mine and OH's work, so with the delivery being my last day at work before Xmas, unless my OH can receive and bag up the orders before 2pm when I finish, I'm not going to be able to deliver them! In any case, most people will be busy or not at work 23/24 and delivery would be hit and miss even if I wasn't away
So that means for my customers, the last time they can order for Xmas is 27th Nov and I lose out on the commission for potentially the biggest campaign, which is pretty carp imo. The only thing I'm wondering is, as we are allowed extra deliveries for C17 and C18, whether I could place my order a week earlier than normal, and get delivery a week earlier than normal? Do you think that might work? I realise I will have to pay the £2.50 delivery charge, but I would have the chance to earn all the lovely commission from C18 if I can do that0 -

Yes - if you put that order through as an additional order rather than your regular order (using the drop down selection boxes when you input your order) it should come within 5-10 working days (I've had them turn up after 2 days before now, and other times it has been 7 days!) - from what I can remember you won't need to hit MOV for additional orders for those campaigns if you regular order was at least MOV - but if your additional order is over MOV then you will still get your discount even if you don't put a regular order through.
If that makes sense lol! In any case, you will be able to get the products before your usual day so that you still earn, just make sure you put your additional order through in plenty of timeAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

i'm having the same probs only doesn't work out right.i have 6 items and the total should be £62 but adding them up on the website it's £68.should i email them???0 -
Well the misses has signed up for avon and now has about 4 days to get as many orders as possible for her first brochure.
Anybody got any hints as to who to approach, we have sent txts to everyone in our phones that we think might, sent msgs on facebook to close friends and family.
Anyone got any advice on approaching pubs/business about leaving a brochure in those place? Also considering putting a sign up in local shop window and on notice board but do these achieve anything?
Thanks any help would be much appreciated!!

Hi,
I often put in an order on the first day of a new campaign - sometimes to get stuff out of the clearance section, or because I need stuff quickly. As soon as I have placed the order online, I phone the helpline, and ask them to release the order early. Otherwise, sometimes it just sits there until delivery date. They will release the order early, as long as you have cleared your balance from the last order. The delivery then takes 5-7 days.
