Just finished sorting through my first delivery and bagged them all up... then got a text from a customer saying 'sorry girl from work cancelled her order dont know what it is.' grrr! still at least they let me know, but is a bit disheartening when I only got orders from 5 doors... so that makes it 4 now!

Hugs Gemma. Don't let it get you down. You got your delivery which is good.

I have a customer that never contacts me for delivery and when I eventually go to her house knocking on her door, she looks surprised and says " oh yes, my avon?" At least this one has told you they don't want the order rather than lying at the front door or totally ignoring you.

Avon is going ok. Slowly getting a few more customers thanks to word of mouth more than anything else. have got 10 regular customers out of my territory and did recanvass another 10 houses last campaign and gained another cust and also her mother wants to order from me. Most of my customers are people at work and family and friends.

Really need to get my backside into gear and recanvass the rest of the territory. Have about approx 80 houses. 10 are covered from a previous rep or friends, another 20 ish have asked for no more books and have quite a few that I can never get a book back from so can only assume that they are throwing them out

Loving the new absthyne perfume :T Think its really nice xxx

Re the sales book - i back order on my terrirtory and so never give out the sales books as by this time most things are out of stock. One thing I have started doing thanks to this thread is the free mystery gift for all orders over £15. This has really gone down a storm!

Fingers crossed for big xmas sales (sorry for the long post)

I am only on my third campaign but I cannot believe the waste that Avon makes.
I understand that boxes can't be heavy but I have had numerous boxes with one thing in them or half full and others that are packed full of make up etc. Good that brochures don't come in boxes and that I have had the slippers out of a box counting as one box. Then on the other hand I open a box and find one pair of slippers when I already have 2 pairs that came unboxed.
I contacted them via email about mispriced items and a box that never arrived containing my large bags. Said I didn't need them replaced I would reorder when I needed them then what happens they send them in another box!!!!
I asked for mispriced items on invoice to be credited to my account and got an email within a day but wondering how long it takes to be done.
I have never met a calorie yet I didn't like!!

oh Missysx, I know what you mean.

I was telling DH tonight that one just argues with me about everything, I must be wrong in whatever I am talking about. He said to me just leave her, and I was like... I know but she does buy every campaign.

I am just going to have to deliver and run....

My MIL had fun doing the deliveries while I was on holiday - she had one customer say that I'd charged her for something she hadn't ordered last campaign - for one thing it was a free gift!!!! but also why wait til your next order is delivered to query it??? - and then I had written onto peoples order forms exactly what they had ordered to make it easier for MIL - this lady had ordered nail varnishes, so I had jotted on that they were colortrend......so she says to my MIL hang on I haven't ordered any colortrend this has been added on!!! pmsl, good job it wasn't me delivering I would have said fine then, and taken her order away!!! I never alter the numbers so how could I be charging her more!!!

Bizarre - months ago my boxes came with hardly any bits in each one....and yet now they are crammed full, squashing little items!!!!
