well done Phia on your C16 order. Too right you should send her order back, if she was genuine about payment, she would have made an effort to contact you.0

see my SL doesn't. She says we don't make much money on the stuff in there. But I have a customer who is on a tight budget and she is buying her xmas presents from there, especially bath roses but is then also buying more expensive stuff from main book. So where she can save money on things like bath roses, she can spend a little more on more luxurious items.
And it's all sales towards Pres Club. Which is directly in your interest, but not your SL's.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Thanks for that !!!!!! Here. The way I see it, anyone who buys anything from me, is a sale towards Pres club...LOL. x0

sheena82 - my campaigns have been going up each time, this is my 3rd campaign. i have quite a few regular customers, which is nice and i have only have 1 problem and that was the first campaign i did and decided not to do it for her anymore she completely messed things up and took an eyeliner and then said she hadn't received it so i had to pay it, decided not to do avon for her anymore as its not worth the hassle you always get one who makes things difficult! but well done and keep on going
i now cant wait to get my order friday and give it all out, glad i discovered this thread for handy tips! thanks everyone,0 -
grrrr I am really annoyed right now. I went out on saturday to pick up books from the road I have just been allocated and I see someone elses books out. (i still had 9 orders from this rd though!)
I get home and I have a text on my phone asking me why I was canvassing this road when it was allocated to one of her reps months ago!
It would appear that 3 people have been allocated this rd. I have contacted my sales leader and have explained the situation and I'm hoping as the original rep for the road has never canvassed it and I have and have loads of orders that I'll get to keep the road. It's worth a lot of money to me!
But i have now canvassed my whole territory so I cant put anymore books out
On the upside in on £360 in orders so far, with 4 days to go!:):)

Does anyone know who the area sales person is for Lincoln and the surrounding villages, registered our interest online last week and not heard anything from anyone :-s0 -
Hi Jemton
Thanks for the reply so far so good with me had two people coming out telling me they do not want books but they where so nice about it. Going to collect my first lot of books in tonight so fingers crossed I only wish I could go out through the day but cant cause I work full time. I hate going out in the dark but I suppose I will have to get used to it.
Phia well done on your orders.New Avon Rep

Hi girls,
Still loving this thread :P youre all so lovely, sharing all your ideas and helping each other!
i have a couple questions... when you get a territory, approx how many streets do you get given?
i have asked my sl for one but shes yet to give me any details, saying just do where i want to...
also aureol, after reading your signature looks like youve got better and better each campaign.. doing really well now, was this because you got more books out or your confidence?
im sruggling financially, as is everyone here, so i can only afford to buy about 30 books each campain... at the moment i cant put any money into buying avon moneymakers or products/samples etc which is a pain

Struggling AVON rep0 -
sheena82 - i put post it notes on my first campaign brochures asking if they wanted to recieve the avon brochures because i know some people dont like to have them, but still one woman came out to me and said she didnt want one she wasnt very nice about it either but most people are, it can sometimes take a few campaigns to get going as it has done with me thinking about taking on a another small street as now the clients know when im going usually orders out and books back in within a week then i have 2 weeks just for getting back odd brochures and family and friends.0

welcome!
It depends on how much territory is available where you live, that is allocated to you. I got given 110 houses on my first sign up, and I asked for another few roads but was only able to get 1 more.
You are better off contacting your ASM and asking for territory, as if you just go where you want, you might be stepping on another rep's toes, and it's not very nice. My customers were not very impressed that someone was on my territory canvassing, when they knew I saw them each month whether they ordered or not.
Hun, I am very impressed with myself too! LOL. I actually wasn't ordering more than 20 books to start with, couldn't afford more than, then increased to 30. But I have been very fortunate in finding new customers not just on my territory but in other areas.
I have customers in the baby group, the local Fish And Chip shop, my local Boots, and old school friend, friends have started buying from me now, my Dr's Receptionist who has introduced one of her friends, and the Administrators from the surgery. One of the mum customers, takes books to her son's nursery and has got me 2 customers from there and her ex boyfriend's partner has ordered once.
And I have asked my friend to ask her neighbours if they would like to have a look at a book as they don't get one down their road.
So yes, it is a confidence thing, I am more likely now to ask around wherever I am if people want to see an Avon book. I was a the walk in centre for my son last week and I went back to reception to ask if they saw an Avon book, yes they did.
Was at Nandos with my friend and she was looking through HT and Avon as she wanted a face moisturiser, and the waitress came over and asked if she did avon. Turned out they had been getting a book for years from an established avon rep, but she wanted to have a chat about it.
I don't buy moneymakers, products or samples. I do canny buying from HT and the avon books when I can, and this helps. You will find that the more customers you get and the more established you are, you will be able to afford more books and you will be able to give one or two books to one person, who will show it to others.0
