  • I've just started preparing my C17 books to go out next week. Bear in mind that if anyone orders the Chocolate Bag on p22 of the sale book, then it's available for £5 if you (or your customers) spend £7.50 in the C16 sale book.
Might be worth a little creative ordering! ;)

Aureol - I have found the boot slippers to be my best selling item so far. It hwlps when people can see them, so perhaps if you work in an office and can maybe put them on if your feet hurt at the end of the day, you will get lots of compliments and sell them

How do we send the In Bloom moneymaker back? I can't find it online. It was charged in C15 wasn't it? Its C16 order day for me today and don't want to pay the extra £30 if I can help it

Happy Girl, that is fab news, I can tell my customers 2 of Avon Team have told me how comfortable they are and how well they are selling.

My office is my home...:rotfl: there is only me, and my son would wear them but not buy them, he's only 2. But I was thinking of buying them for when my friends come round. I will only wear them when they are around as I prefer to go bare feet.

Hey.... Ive become a trainee sales leader in the last weeks and already have 3 in my team with 2 to sign up this evening and two tomorrow!

Best thing I found to do was message everyone on facebook.... if your on there, or twitter or myspace and see who would be interested, I have reps that I didnt even think would be interested!

    Hope that helps!

well done carkeyz. I tried this on facebook, and didn't work for me, just got "I'm an Avon rep too..." back.. :rotfl:

but it is a fab idea, because it can really work for some people.

I am hoping to sign a friend on sunday who was busy selling my Avon products today in Nandos and then said, "I am so sorry, I didn't mean to do that." And I said no, you go ahead! The more you sell for me the better. But I think I have convinced her she should do it as she is fab at it.

That will make my 5, but not sure if all mine are going to last.

You are doing really well. Problem with facebook is I don't really have contacts in the UK, most of them live in Canada or Paraguay (where I am from) so not really a route for me, and I have no family at all in the UK and not really many friends. But I am seeing two ladies tomorrow, so hopefully one will sign up and that is my first 3 (or 4?) then need one or two more to make 5...

Good luck with your signups (and you too, aureol, that friend of yours sounds good).

My ASM emailed me details of someone she had stopped on the street earlier in the week who wanted to think about it but every time I ring there is no answer so will just have to try again...

KazLa, if you want to start making a word document on useful hints and tips, go ahead.

We will probably find we can amalgamate the two once completed, as we will both have thought of different things that are of benefit.

    Well, networking really pays off!

I have become re-acquainted with an old school friend through freecycle, even though I have been reading her newsletters for 2 years from Netmums and never realised!

So when I went to see her with my little one, she said have you got an avon book, I really want the mascara. I forgot to take it.. naughty me.. so popped it through her letterbox the next day.

So she has placed an order, given the book to her friend to look at,,, good girl.... AND said to me, would you consider making a donation to the school xmas fayre.

Now me, I am happy to make baskets of goodies for any worthwhile charity or cause. So I said yes, I will see if I can make 3, need to check stock. She then replied, we have a little book that every parent has to buy to enter the fayre. Depending on committee, etc we will put an advert in for you and avon!!!whoop, whoop. And she has suggested I put my business card and books in the baskets.... whoop whooppp.

    Hi all!

Well I submitted my first order to Avon, I earned much more than I thought I would! I checked my invoice this morning and there's one item temporarily out of stock and I should await delivery later... if the customer doesn't want it anymore, how do I go about 'cancelling' it before it turns up?
