HI all well i joined Avon on tuesday and had till next tuesday to get all my orders in. I havent even got website acces yet anyhoo. I have been ill and only have 20 brochures out & tomoroow im busy all day so maybe sat but im working. Im comfortable with having a month to hit the £78 minimum but not a week. Does anyone know what will happen if i dont hit £78 by tuesday will i be 'kicked off' or is it just i dont get any money? xx"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, but Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad."0

Am still new to this but as far as I know, if you don't reach the minimum level then you get no commission.
In such cases, seems to me you have two options (well, only two I can think of so far) :
1. Order extra stuff for yourself and/or whatever you are finding is popular with your customers and live in hope that someone orders it in the next campaign. (If you ended up returning any unwanted stuff - eventually - would Avon reclaim your commission? Anyone tried it?)
2. And maybe I shouldn't say this but.... if you order via Quidco at the mo they are quoting free delivery for orders over £20 and 15% cashback (formerly 10%) So.... order less than £80 as an agent and get nothing or go via Quidco? No brainer....

Got my third order today and was surprised to find that I'd been charged for 5 items that were not included with my order. Have applied for credit so assume it will be OK but just flagging to make sure that everyone actually checks the products against the invoice before compiling their orders.
Main problem seems to be with Lavender bubble bath and the footwash - anyone else having problems with non-deliveries? Oh, the hair elixir seems excellent - thought I might as well make use of all the gunge in one of my boxes. None of the four elixirs I ordered were actually screwed tight and one was actually in two bits - hence the gunge. Yuk! Damaged some of my other product boxes and caused me a lot of hassle to clean up what I could save.
So far I've not had an order arrive without causing me a problem with either empty product boxes, spillages and missing (but charged) goods - have I just been unlucky or is this 'the norm'?

Hi Christine
I wouldn't order through Quidco, because as an agent you still need to order books for your next delivery and if you don't, they will automatically send you 1, and charge you for that 1. So, you will still receive an invoice anyway.
Better to have a look through Hello Tomorrow (HT) and have a look at the clearance items, or things that you think might be popular in the next book, and bump up your minimum order to £78, that way you qualify for your commission.
If the items you have ordered are unsuitable, you can always return them.0 -

Christine, I would say you have been very unlucky so far. It might be useful to you to feedback to customer service that the way your boxes have been packed are not very suitable, due to spillages, items missing, etc.
They do like feedback and if you let them know, hopefully they will learn from our constructive feedback and pack the boxes better in future.0 -
People have been asking what do you when you are getting orders from libraries, drs surgery's, fish and chip shop etc. Well I only get orders from the staff, not customers, and everywhere I have orders like this, have asked me to deliver their order to their workplace. I tell them when the delivery is due, how much they owe me, and then call again when I have the delivery, to confirm I have all their items, and when would they like me to deliver to their workplace. They then hand me their money there and take their goodies.
I have read of some customers at hairdressers looking at avon books and placing orders, but I think these customers requested delivery to their home.0 -
Thanks all, but im not in a financial position to pay £78 for myself to hit my commision. I will wait till monday see if any orders come in from the 20 and contact the woman who signed me up. i did tell her there was a possibility i couldnt do it in a week!"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, but Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad."0
