hI funkyfish,

I started avon in September i'm on my 3rd camp. I started a week before the order date also and managed to get over £100 worth of orders. Being ill hasn't helped you at all

Maybe the next one will be a lot better for you. My 2nd one was also awful as i had to move house and could only do a week again then. Now on my 3rd with proper territory and i'm finally having a good camp. Hopefully things will pick up for you too. Keep trying and don't give up is all I can say really. :grouphug:

Aureol - I have found the boot slippers to be my best selling item so far. It hwlps when people can see them, so perhaps if you work in an office and can maybe put them on if your feet hurt at the end of the day, you will get lots of compliments and sell them

How do we send the In Bloom moneymaker back? I can't find it online. It was charged in C15 wasn't it? Its C16 order day for me today and don't want to pay the extra £30 if I can help it

i've never bought a money maker so i'm afraid i'm unable to help.

Wish I had bought the in bloom one though. I've sold 4 bottles this camp!

I returned mine as any other product, you can click on the invoice from C15 and find it on there or type "in bloom" in the search field, should bring it up.

I just received an email from Avon welcoming me as Trainee SL:j Just need to find some more people to sign in now and my ASM is on hols next week (order week) so will see if I can do some on my own - she gave me two sign-up packs and about 4 packs of C16 brochures, I'm hoping to find at least one person until she returns. Will put some cards in shop windows next week and ASM told me about an area where I could knock on doors as it is free so we'll see if I can pluck up the courage....:o

I'm planning on holding a Xmas party in November. Looking into hiring a community centre/function room if I can and will order loads and loads of stuff in C17 yo sell on the day, plus will give out books so people can take them away to browse. I'm hoping I can do it on the Saturday after my C17 delivery, which will leave 2 weeks before order date. As I said in an earlier post, will offer the Ipod as a raffle prize to get even more contacts, and will donate raffle sales and 5% of the commission to Breakthrough.

How is best to advertise it? I'm going to put flyers through doors, but do you think it is best to write a piece on the event and see if the local media will give me free editorial publicity or pay for advertising?

my partner signed up on the internet to be an avon rep and got email saying that her SL would be in contact shortly, anyone got an idea how long shortly is?

someone was in contact with me within 2 days and I was signed up within 4 days. It's a pretty speedy process.

I've just gone for the 6 bottles of Absynthe money maker. Is 6 a bit ambitious?

I don't like the perfume personally but hopefully some customers might. I have a load of samples that I'm going to put out with Camp 17 to really draw their attention to it. If they don't sell I can always return them

has anyone sold many of these sa far?

Hey.... Ive become a trainee sales leader in the last weeks and already have 3 in my team with 2 to sign up this evening and two tomorrow!

Best thing I found to do was message everyone on facebook.... if your on there, or twitter or myspace and see who would be interested, I have reps that I didnt even think would be interested!
