The coin sorter is the same one as in HT, as I have ordered one for Fianc!'s Xmas present and a customer ordered one too.

    Hello,
I have a question about the superstar status you get after 6 campaigns (shoudl you hit the right amount of sales) - is there anyway you can keep track of this? I'm sounding soft but I'm really keen to hit this target and I'd quite like to keep track myself- should I just keep checking my letters that I get with each order? The last one said £222 of sales so far (after 1 campaign!)... but I was wondering if there was anything on the web to help with this?

It's alright - I answered my own question - go to my account, click on my status and it should tell you total sales so far.... :D
should have looked a bit closer eh?

Anyone know if the demo bag is the same as the rep bag??
I was on the way to school and saw a C13 book out with an order for £15 how i missed that i'll never know. At first i thought it wasnt mine but it was, i'll have to drop her a book in on Monday and give her somthing off her order me thinks!!

Have a look in the HT mag. I have just checked the HT online and there are three different bags: the demo bag (£15), the vanity bag (£10) and the rep bag (£10)

The demo bag is the one with the removable pink bag and mirror etc.

    Hi AvonNewbie,

the best thing to do is to check your invoice.

If you go online to your account, look at "my account", look at "track orders" and the invoice that you have just submitted, it will tell you how much it is for and detail what the costs are.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried to look at the invoice but for some reason I can't view it
  • Hi
You normally have to wait about 24 hrs before you can view your invoice ( I do anyway!) Depending on when you put your order in - leave 24 hrs then log back on and check the status update and try clicking the invoice link again :)

Well i collected my books from recanvassing... picked up 2 new customers! :D:j

I also had a regular customer chase me down the street, she had an order form in her hand.... turns out she has a friend who has been getting messed about by her avon rep and the friend was wondering if she could order through me since im "so reliable" :D

So of course I said id take the order for her! And drop 2 books off in future for them. So i got £14.50 order there too! :) Oh and the order form was from C15 and says £19.50 but the items are cheaper in C16 im about to give my customers so will give the new lady them at the cheaper price saving her £5 and she hopefully will be even more impressed with me for being so honest and become a good customer in the future! ;)

I really do think being reliable and word of mouth does work for picking up customers.. ive been doing it a year on October 13th and am finding now my regulars are tending to reccommend me and showing the book to family/friends.

Thats the second customer in the last couple of campaigns ive picked up from their last rep being unreliable too.... the last lady placed a £41 order with me!!:eek::eek: A rep had put a catalogue through her door but never came back for it.......!

Her daughter works in the local newsagent where the staff all take books and i get big orders from them regulary ... come to think of it i got them as customers by my mum calling in and asking could she put one my advertising postcards up in their window and one of them asked if it was at all possible for me to get an item for her and leave a book too as their last rep had never came back either, and now few months on all the staff order from me! :D

I was wondering about the being reliable bit....I have so far only canvassed around 40 houses but will be doing a lot more on this campaign...so far I have put books through with a note of when to leave them out, then if they havn't left them I have put another note through to say when I will be back to try to get some more back, but I havn't knocked on any doors :o

I am just wondering if perhaps some people might not put an order out and might be expecting me to knock? what do you think?
