  • Hi guys,

how do you get an immediate replacement? When ever I have products missing (near enough every campain) I have to wait till the next campain is delieverd to recieve them, really bad customer service. Also items which are out of stock and say they will be sent as soon as in stock only come with my regular order!
  • I had a large order which I got on Wednesday. Out of 400 plus items I had 2 which were to follow on later. No items out of stock which was surprising. Had a glimmerstick which was the wrong colour don't think it was me as it was nothing like the code that it should have been it was on totally different page from the one I sent. It was blue although not right blue but it didn't matter as it was my best friend and she was ok with it.
Have to say I was worried that I would have half the stuff missing or wrong. It's only September time enough yet!!!
I have never met a calorie yet I didn't like!!
  • moneymaker2 i haven't placed an ad myself, i have just seen ones in the listings on the oxford gumtree.

had my order today. 1 item that i've been charged for but missing. couple of items i could of sworn i ordered 2 of each, but invoice only said 1 and only recieved 1.

i've noticed a couple of pages back, people commenting on clearance items saying out of stock/no longer available and then appearing in the next HT

i have experienced that with some bubble bath and with some LBD sets.
    little frustrating!

apart from that, all was well.

I'm worried at the fact many people are saying things are being missed from their orders... does this happen a lot? Do you have to contact Avon and wait for the missing items?

I've had no problems until this year. More recently it has been problems with every campaign. Returns and missing items. Has got really bad this year.

  • I only ever seem to have things that are out of stock that i have ordered for me. Get my deliver tomorrow though so we shall see

  • the only issue i had on the campaign before was i bought a necklace on clearance and they sent me the wrong one, so had to arrange for that to go back.

I'm thinking of dipping my toe in the Sales Leader waters. Was very excited about doing this before but got let down so much by my Area Manager I gave up.

Now I've got a new Area Manager, and although I'm already a bit wary (she said she didn't receive my email sent a week ago because her Avon mail has a 'spam' filter that she can't get to), I'm giving it another go..

Only thing is I can't remember how it all works.

Am I right in thinking - you need 3 sign-ups to get trained. One where you watch, one where you both do it together, one where you do it while being watched.
After that you're still a Trainee Sales Leader, until you've got 5 reps under your belt, then you're a fully fledged Sales Leader, and can start earning commission (as long as your reps are earning enough).

    Is that correct?

In theory you should be trained like that - but I wasn't lol, it's up the asm and yourself really - if you get on ok after one then they might leave you to it. As for earning - you won't earn anything unless you have 5 reps placing orders, and team sales need to be £888 (including a £148 from yourself), but you can get fast start bonuses - £30 for getting 3 reps in your first 2 camps, and £50 for getting 5 within your first 3 camps as a SL. hth

and...question...some things in HT (demos) are only a few quid than they are in the brochure. surely if you waited a few weeks about bought the same things from the brochure you would effectively be getting it at the same price AND make your commission too? is that right? x

If you order things out of HT you get it at the price stated - if you order out of the brochures, then you will get your discount on it, either 20% or 25% depending how much you sell, so yes sometimes it is worth waiting and getting it out of the brochures. But you wouldn't make commission - avon don't pay you, you are buying things at a discount from avon effectively and selling them at a higher price to your customers, so you wouldn't earn anything from the products if they are for yourself.

yes irratating to see things still in the HT clearance for so long when you know they are out of stock - but they are printed far in advance so they won't actually know if there is any left by the time that HT is the current one if that makes sense!

  • I know what you mean about the clearance items! I wanted to get the soothing sounds pillow for the sister (at uni!) and it said out of stock; I get the next HT and there it is again! Very annoying!
