well done Johanne. You have to do what's right for you, hun. xx
  • grrrr so annoyed!! Just got home and am going on holiday today :-) But i found my late avon order has arrived, so i couldnt help but take a peak, only to find a number of items missing and some extra items and thats only with a quick skim over. I also have not recieved the copy of the orders so will have to print it off and properly check it all when i get back from Norway. Yet more complications!!!! I am so annoyed, first they deliever it late, and then they miss things off the order. Is it really that hard to get things right??? Gosh. Another rant over and i am off to the airport, i shall try and forget what i have to deal with when i get home lol. Byeeee.
  • JellyBean I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with your ASM. I have had no real contact with mine but I can't imagine mine being too impressed with my sales at the moment as things have taken a huge dip. It does seem to be picking up just now, probably the run up to christmas, but even so, nowhere near what I was selling before.

To be honest though, I don't feel like trying that hard anymore. I have had my last order completely ballsed up last time and I am so fed up of having items missing, being overcharged and just general complaints. Honestly I have never had this much trouble before with any company I worked for and to do it all for a measly 25% or 20% comission just seems a little bit much. They really need to figure out ways to give more incentives to their reps. I mean we are doing all the hard work! I am determined to give it at least until Christmas and see how it goes, but every order just seems to have more problems!

  • Great idea! But be warned... my ASM got lost trying to find where I live (not exactly on a side street!); was over an hr late, and then looked at me in astonishment when I made her walk two flights of stairs to get to my flat :D
She proceeded to give it beans - apparently she has over 700 houses and normally always gets orders from all of them.... I didn't know whether to laugh or cry! Then she showed the website (two campaigns later) as if I hadn't figured it out already! Honestly! But she must be good at it cause otherwise she wouldn't have got to that level would she?

    Hi all,

I've just signed up to be an Avon rep on the Avon website... does anyone know how long it will take approx. for me to hear from them?
  • Hi Gemma

I just signed up on Tuesday got a call yesterday and my asm is coming to see me on Monday. I cant wait to get started :j. This forum has alot of great info for us newbies if you look back through (think I am getting a bit addicted to this website).

  • Do Avon read this? They should. Seems so many of us are getting problems with deliveries and returns as well

Don't know if Avon read this forum like Boots used to read grabbit, but there should be a way for us to advise avon of the problems with missing items and returns.
  • Well I am a little embarrased by this campaign - was waiting for the really bad one, at least it's out the way now ready for the biggies at Xmas!!
Going to HAVE to reduce the In Bloom and have bought the Absynthe, so fingers crossed!
My ASM e-mailed us all to give her a list of streets and numbers we do. She is going to do a reccy, hopefully give me more territory as she knows I would like more. Hope she doesn't tell me off this camp! I can safely say my ASM is great! Always communicates with us, can ring/e-mail her and she will respond within a day. x

Yay finally heard from someone, a man! A Sales Leader, he is coming round on Saturday evening with my first catalogues, I'm excited to get started :j

My BF's Mam is already planning for me to hold an Avon party and invite her friends round... has anyone done anything like that before? Any hints and tips, ideas for a game/quiz? Never done anything like it before, won't be for a few weeks yet but will be good for the christmas things!
