Thanks pinkbabe for the Workmoose tip.

Got an appointment with my new AM next week who's gonna go through the SL stuff with me. Wait and see what happens in Round 2!

    Hi,

Hope you get some positive leads. I'm considering spending £48 for an ad in my local paper for one night seems a bit steep to me but what else can I do there must be someone out there who wants to sell Avon near to me.

JELLY_BE4N You poor thing, I hope she comes back to you and lets you keep your area as you have been trying to get things going...surely it would be even worse to reasign to someone else, just when you are getting somewhere...let us know how you get on xHevab just wanted to say well done on your C15 sales, how have others found that campaign? I am really hoping to do well with C16 as I think there are some good offers in it....
Starting with Avon C6 target sales £150.00

IM abit upset with my ASM at the moment as ive just received an email from her saying as she has asked me several times to recanvass by my sales it looks like i havnt and to email her my customers addy so i can keep those and she will give the rest to someone who will make a real go at the round, but i have over the last few months ive been trying really hard but not actually getting new orders people have said theyll have a book to look at so are potential customers. i ve emailed back telling her i have and ive got a load of last campaign books ready to give out to new houses but feel like she just doesnt want me to

Hi just read your post...... I've been given some more streets to canvass partly to see if I can get a rep for them in the long term...... but my sales up to now for C15 are more or less like C14.... two of my customers are away and didn't want a book this time.... a few have order much and some of my new customers have only put in low orders....due to being let down in the past by other reps.... so this maybe what is happening to you...... not everyone orders ever campaign..... try not to get too stressed with it and try and explain again to her.

Hi Jelly_Be4n, my SL told me that most ASM's have never done repping, so don't actually understand what we go through and how hard it is. I have had a few emails with my ASM where she told me how many customers I should have per street and I told her how many ACTUAL customers I have, how many have said no thanks to books and if there are more potential customers on the territory she has given me, to give me their names and addresses so I can go and knock on their door. Nothing - surprise, surprise.

If you feel your ASM is being difficult, you can go to her Manager, think it is a GSM. But what you might like to do first is write down how many customers you have per road, how many have said no thanks per road, and how many have aksed to look at a book. Tell her about any promotions you have run on your territory to draw in new customers and ask her to review her decision.

If you still don't get any joy, it might be worth talking to her GSM.

I still don't understand where the ASM get details of potential customers per street from, unless it is through website buying. But some customers might just prefer to order from the website as they don't have to wait for our delivery than order through us.
  • I have to agree with 'aureol212' that I don't understand where they get the information. My ASM sent me more streets to canvass and the amount of sales of these streets.....it kind of made me laugh..... customers move....in my area there are alot of rented properties which seem to change tennants often so I personally think that some of the information is a bit vague.

    Hey hey!
I've managed £258.31 for C15 - I've noticed the new anew serum seems to be selling well :D
When I went to order the MATS it said out of stock, expecting no more, so I've had a few unhappy faces from customers but I'll try and back order them in the next campaign if they still want them.
Well done on your total!! What a great start! :T

I absolutely sympathise; I live in an area where most of the old houses have been converted into 1/2 bedroom flats so even tho they say 'try this road' etc. my asm didn't quite understand the depth of the situation and how difficult it can be to get orders until she came to visit the other night!

maybe that's what we all need to do! Get our ASM's to come and have a look at our territory and how many houses have NO JUNK MAIL in the window, might as well add, aureol212 this means you and your Avon books....lol

i got really brave last night and recanvassed part my territory,..... i havent done any recanvassing since *looks about to check her asm isnt looking*.... about february :o .....*looks sheepish* :rotfl::rotfl:

Well there was no point!! I was about to recanvass in April when ihad to go on benefits and so didnt want to be wasnt doing all theb extra work for nothing... but now the commission is all mine and with Christmas coming ive bit the bullet and decided to recanvass... ASM cant have too many complaints though as i unexpectedly got a text from her night before delivery night saying well done on my near £400 sales and i was one of the top reps in the area :)

Done most my deliveries last night, about 10 more to do tonight. Not feeling in a very avony mood but gotta do it! So...
